Brand new addition to a 5-yr old home. Our household is a calm, peaceful environment perfect for short-term renters like a travel nurse, student, etc. It is a quiet neighborhood in a very convenient location: close to shopping and restaurants yet with a more remote feel. You will have the new, private bedroom with en-suite bathroom and good sized closet all to yourself, and the kitchenette is also completely dedicated to guest use. We are rarely in the downstairs family room so you will have lots of private time there, and the downstairs laundry is only used by one other person. (We will pre-arrange those times so you are not surprised by our presence.) And of course you are more than welcome to share any of the upstairs common spaces. Your room is on the ground level (no stairs) along with a family room, laundry, dinette and kitchenette: small sink, mini refrigerator / freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker (your choice of standard or Keurig) and cabinet / shelf space. The main kitchen, dining and living room are upstairs (14 stairs). We are a quiet couple with an adult student already living in one of the existing spare bedrooms. You are welcome to interact with us and share meals as much or as little as you like. Very suburban-neighborhood from the front, but seems more rural out back. It’s the best of both worlds! Less than 5 minutes from major grocery and department stores, restaurants within 5-10, and easy highway access. Yet the home’s setting gives a sense of removed peacefulness. Spokane Valley is very easy to navigate. Just a few major streets provide you with everything you need. And there are none of those downtown paid lots; parking here is easy and free. This neighborhood allows street parking, and you will have a spot to park in the driveway while you’re here. We are open to discussion about any guests you might like to have stay with you.
