Walking distance: Houghton Lake access, Spikehorn restaurant, party store, playground, tennis courts, picnic shelter. 5 min drive: DNR boat launch, dog park, trails, large playground w/ zipline, gaga ball, disc golf, fitness track. 10 min drive: South Higgins Lake State Park, Marl Lake Trails, shopping Freshly remodeled good-sized studio with full bed and room divider for privacy. There's a futon in the main room that can sleep 1 or 2 kids. Full-size kitchen with gas stove and cooking gear. Guests have access to the cottage, brand new fire pit, grill, and 2 driveway parking spaces max. Owners occupy the main house and will be available when needed. There is a $10/night per dog Pet Fee. Please be sure to indicate if you are bringing a pet when booking reservation. The yard is only partially fenced so you will need a leash or lead as well as a crate if you plan on leaving your dog unattended inside the cottage.
