The Lazy Loft

An hour and a half away from Los Angeles, enjoy a cozy, modern cabin steps away from seasonal Arrowbear Lake. Outfitted with lightning-fast WiFi, heat, A/C, a bidet, rainfall shower and vaulted ceilings, The Lazy Loft is perfect for a couple's or family getaway. During the Winter: ￫ 5 mins from Snow Valley ￫ 30 mins from Bear Mountain and Snow Summit During the Summer: ￫ 10 minutes to swimming, fishing, and hiking ￫ 20 minutes to Big Bear Sleeping Arrangements Downstairs is a lockable bedroom with a queen bed and lots of natural light. Upstairs in the loft is a full bed with a beautiful maple desk for writing and working. Cooking Arrangements The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking and measuring utensils, knives, spices, cooking oil, a microwave - anything you need to make a tasty treat! The essentials are also there, like a wine opener and can opener. There is no dishwasher. There isn’t an electric grill outside on the deck. Coffee & Tea A Keurig with K-Cups, teas, honey, sugar, cocoa and creamer are all available. Bathroom The bathroom has a bidet, waterfall shower, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner. First Aid is in the bathroom drawer. The bathroom is connected to the downstairs bedroom, so those sleeping in the loft will have to go through the downstairs bedroom to use it. Heating and Cooling There is a gas heater that heats the house right by the front door as well as a small electric wall heater in the downstairs bedroom. There is a window A/C unit in the downstairs bedroom and an A/C unit for the rest of the house during the Summer months. Outdoors There is a large deck out front with chaise lounges, a table, an electric grill and an umbrella. The house is in a small mountain community and has neighbors on either side. Parking We have space for two vehicles in our driveway. Street parking is not allowed. Entertainment We've got our entire board game collection, a Gamecube with the classics, a TV with Netflix and Hulu, and Bose speakers with multi-room audio to listen to your favorite tunes. There's also a scavenger hunt with a prize you can keep! Pests Being in the mountains, critters are a part of life. We take many steps to keep them out: the house is professionally cleaned after each guest and we use multiple humane methods of blocking their entry, but we can't always account for the occasional critter from sneaking in through an open door. During your stay, the key to the front door is the last four digits of your phone number. This is changed after your stay for safety.
