Rural Retreat in Mayberry-Like Town Near Lexington

Welcome off the beaten path to Wilmore, Kentucky! Our place lies just outside of Wilmore's quaint downtown shopping district and about (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes to most Lexington destinations! Our space is set up to offer you a rural retreat whether you are visiting college or seminary students, coming to check out Lexington, looking for somewhere to just get away and unplug, or just passing through. Our hope is that our guests will experience a refreshing getaway as they stay in this little country home. Our space is tucked into small town Wilmore, Kentucky, just outside of Lexington. It is a 960 square foot home with an open floor plan in the main living area, with two and a half bedrooms and a full bathroom with laundry. There is a spacious yard with a pretty country view of a cow pasture out back. We have optional childproofing locks on kitchen cabinets that can be turned on and off depending on the guests needs. If you don't have little ones they can be off and easily openable during your stay! If you have little ones, you can have them on and access them by a magnetic key! We've created a welcome book to help you figure out your stay from a guide to the house to a guide through Wilmore, surrounding areas, Lexington and even beyond. We have tried to leave a little extra shelving space for food you might need during your stay, and we have closets that have space for your things as well. Our hope is that our space can be something you walk into and relax in. Please reach out to us if you have any questions! The house is accessed by key code. The code is changed between each guest for your safety and peace of mind. We live nearby and are happy to help how we can if we are needed! Otherwise, you will have the privacy of a keycoded entry and self check-in/check-out. We are in relationship with some of the surrounding houses' residents. There is also a park at the end of the street with a fun playground! (Hidden by Airbnb) says the walking distance from this house is: .5 miles (~13 minute walk) to Asbury University and to Asbury Seminary through downtown, only a few minutes drive to those places. Lexington: (recorded around 11pm from (Hidden by Airbnb) ) Keeneland: ~22 minutes Lexington Airport: ~22 minutes Fayette Mall: ~21 minutes Hamburg Shopping Center: ~32 minutes Rupp Arena or downtown Lexington: ~26 minutes Kentucky Horse Park: ~36 minutes University of Kentucky: ~25 minutes We are currently working some on the outside of the house and around the property. We plan to work around guest stays, but please forgive in-process paint jobs such as the porch and garage and construction such as landscaping, fencing, etc if they have not been completed upon your stay. This is mostly meant for a quiet retreat or visiting space for students and family. We cannot host parties in this space. If you have questions about your purposes for the space and if the house would be a good accommodation, please reach out. Also, we cannot accommodate pets in this home, so we have a strict no pets policy due to allergies- no exceptions. If you need a one night stay and we are able to accommodate it based on the details of your stay we will consider doing so. If you’re needing a one night stay and would like to reach out about it, we are fine with you asking. I cannot guarantee we will be able to, which is why we had to remove the option as a given for instant booking, it will depend on multiple factors. Please do know that one night stays are not cheaper. Arranging cleaning around one night stays can actually be more challenging, so please note that prior to inquiry. If we are able to host you, we would love to- we are sorry to no longer be able to regularly accommodate one night stays.
