Paradise Hills Wonderhouse

Welcome to our Tiny House, on a hobby farm nestled in the foothills of Golden, overlooking Paradise Hills and the Denver skyline, a short drive to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Guests are welcome to explore the 10 acre property including an orchard, vinyard, nature trail, and sand volleyball court. Take a stroll and meet the alpacas and seasonal geese. This is a Tiny House. The loft space is tight for the claustrophobic, but a cozy nook for the rest. The type of people who daydream of living in a treehouse and like weird spaces really enjoy it here. A small business operates out of the Shop right behind the tiny house. Employees will access the property and are most active early on weekday mornings. Two resident dogs do roam the property, they are friendly she-doodles Luna & Bailey. We recommend catching a sunrise in the morning and relaxing with horizon views of the city lights by evening. With luck you'll catch sightings of the abundant local wildlife herds of elk and deer. In September you may be awoken at night by a screaming bull during the elk rut. Excellent jogging, mountain biking, and road biking. Marathon runners can take a crack at the Golden Ranch Lap, a scenic and rigorous 22 mile route leaving from the property to explore Mt. Morrison, Red Rocks, Mathew Winters Park, Apex Park, Paradise Hills & Lookout Mountain. Distances to: - 11 mins to Red Rocks Amphitheatre - 12 mins downtown Golden - 22 mins to downtown Denver - 40 mins to DIA - 57 mins to Arapahoe Basin - 1hr 25 mins to Vail Park by the post and water spigot next to the tiny house. We enjoy sharing our place and lifestyle with guests, happy to show you around! Feel free reach out to any of the Golden Ranch team during your stay if you'd like to tour or meet the animals. Otherwise we'll stay out of your hair and possibly see you in passing on the property! The bathroom features a COMPOSTING TOILET, if you don't know how those work we recommend googling it. We've made improvements over the winter that returning guests will appreciate! -The awkward stairway is replaced with a super solid steel ladder which takes up less space. -Steel rail added to the loft for additional safety. -Mini-split install for climate control (nearly complete!) that will easily heat and cool the full length of the tiny home. Gone is the pesky floor AC unit which always felt in the way. The electric space heaters on the floor will be gone soon too.
