Little piece of heaven, very quiet, with view on a tiny lake (not for swimming). Redesigned in a minimalist and relaxed style, this chalet will please both adults and children - kids will love the mezzanine, climbing wall and swing! You will find everything you need for a memorable stay: wood stove (interior and exterior), patio, BBQ, board games, and more. In front of the chalet is a tiny lake, ideal for watching frogs and fishes, and for a pedal boat ride (provided on-site). You will find swimmable lakes nearby, the nearest one being only 8 minutes away by car. Please note that even though the chalet can technically sleep 6, the septic tank system limitations don't allow for more than 4 persons. The chalet is equipped with an outdoor patio, as well as a fire bit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. You will also have access to a dock and paddle board (shared with our other chalet). St-Calixte and around : (depending on Covid and seasons) - behind the cottage, there is a large forest, ideal for walking - in St-Calixte, you will find a grocery store, drug store, ATM machine, corner store, 2 or 3 pizzerias/restaurants (our favorite is Les Délices de Rosa), an ice cream shop, a hardware store, as well as a park (children playground and waterpark playground, skatepark, baseball and tennis court, ice rink, etc) - Atlantide Waterpark & zoo is 15 minutes away - Ski Montcalm is 20 minutes away - the city center of Rawdon is 30 minutes away: Rawdon has a cute commercial street with restaurants, bakeries and shops. You will also find in Rawdon many activities such as a beach, Dorwin falls, and more. - there are a few lakes in the area that are open to public: Lac Dodon Lac Bécaud (access from Rue Touchette) Lac Rond (access from Montée Casino) Lac Duffy (access from Rue de la Plage) Quatre Saisons - please visit the Lanaudiere website for more information on activities Even though our tiny lake is not swimmable, you will find small lakes and beaches nearby, as well as many other activities in the beautiful Lanaudière region.
