Welcome to The Blue Goose! Historic renovated farmhouse built in 1850 with Seneca Lake views in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country. Bright and spacious loft right in the heart of the Seneca wine trail. Minutes from countless wineries, breweries, 5min from Watkins Glen and 30min to Ithaca. Backyard is secluded and quiet and the house is right next to Hector Falls Creek- perfect for a morning walk! This 1850 farmhouse sits on 20 acres in the heart the Finger Lakes Wine Country. It is very spacious with high ceilings, large windows, original details, hardwood floors and views of the Seneca lake! You will be staying in the entire loft on the first floor. The 2nd, 3rd floor and basement remain locked and are only for personal use when we do not rent it. It includes: - a queen size bed -spacious living room with smart TV and board games - dining table - fully equipped kitchen - full bathroom with stand shower - backyard with outdoor furniture and grill (available only from May to October). You have access to the entire first floor, the backyard and forest. 2nd, 3rd floor and basement remain locked during your stay and are only for our personal use when we do not rent the house. Check in! Our check in time is 4pm and we are unable to accommodate any early check in requests. Check Out! Please be mindful of our check out time which is 11am!! We kindly ask you to be respectful of our cleaners’ time and not to have them wait outside for you to leave. In case you Overstay Airbnb’s penalty fee is 2times the nightly rate. You will have the entire place to yourself and we have self check in option available but you can contact us anytime if you need anything at all during your stay! We are located right in the heart of Seneca Lake Wine Trail, minutes away from countless wineries, breweries and restaurants! We are also 5 minutes away from Watkins Glenn and 30min from Ithaca! This house is our dream coming true and we absolutely love it so we are looking for someone who will respect it and treat it like they would treat their own home! A historic farmhouse built in 1850 with lots of history and charm that was in desperate need of care and love and looooots of work! We are extremely happy with our renovation so far and it has many of the original details including hand carved beams and hardwood floors. However, we still have a lot more to do as is a long process to be able to restore an old building while maintaining as much as possible its original details and charm. So before booking our property please keep in mind that we are still working with the Historical Society to find old pictures so we can paint the outside as it was...luckily we have some ideas on what the color was since the house currently looks like it hasn’t been painted since 1850!!
