Casa Colibri on Lake Travis has been our family’s private home since 1997. In November of 2019 we launched our AIRBNB exclusively for adults ONLY to experience the peaceful lifestyle we enjoy here year round! Our lakefront property invites friends & couples to reconnect and share the gift of time while lounging in the pool/spa, snuggling by the fire pit, stargazing, sipping drinks at sunset, shooting pool or simply relaxing in our ultra comfy home. The space HOUSE DETAILS: Our home is your home at Casa Colibri! We took all the best things of staying at a hotel and staying at a friends home and created the ultimate vacation spot. The jewel in the crown is our intimate Spanish style backyard living space. Within our Alamo inspired walls guests love our pool, spa, gas grill, lounge chairs, marble dining table and chairs, large circular gas fire pit, waterfall, water fountain and (late spring-summer) flower gardens! Our two story waterfront home boasts spectacular views of Lake Travis and The North Austin Hill Country. You can also take a two minute walk from the house down to the lake (access varies on lake level). The main living space is on the 2nd floor with central air and heating. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room (60' smart tv), a dining room, and a laundry room. The 1st floor includes a bedroom with a king size bed & detached full bathroom. A game room with Connelly billiards table, 60” smart tv, board games, and books. You will have access to Netflix and Hulu on the TV's during your stay. POOL INFO: We are happy to heat the pool for you at any point during your stay, please keep in mind it can take up to 12+ hours to heat. Please message host for pricing details. PARKING: Guests can park on the driveway. Access to the garage is not permitted. For those traveling with boats: guests will need to use the public ramp when launching a boat, there is one just down the road, Emerald Boat Ramp or further away is the VIP boat marina in The Hollows. GYM: Our gym is located at the POA center. There is a lanyard hanging in the entryway with an access card which will open the doors to get in. Located at the corner of Boggy Ford and American Drive. (There is a $100 fine for lost tags and Access cards.) LAKE TRAVIS ACCESS: Beyond the walls of our backyard is a gravel walkway that leads you to Lake Travis in about two minutes. Although we are waterfront we do not have access to the lake. If you’d like to enjoy Lake Travis from shore I recommend going to one of the many parks that surround us! Registered guests will be given access to the City of Lago Vista's private parks (requires 72-hour notice for access). *Park pass required for usage of boat ramps, please let me know if you are bringing a boat.* I'm happy to allow you an earlier arrival or later departure if it is available within 24 hours of check-in/check-out. Please send me a message for these requests. Please be aware that Lake Travis water levels fluctuate and is sometimes low. Guests should check the LCRA website for water levels. Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community not a hotel, and is also my home when I stay in Austin, please be respectful of the property and our things and keep it clean before you leave. Guest access Self check-in with provided keypad entry code (sent 24hrs prior) Access to entire property with the exceptions of: 1) There is a "NO PARKING" section located in the center of our tree lined driveway where water flows underneath the concrete in a gulley that leads to the cove. Please do not park where it says "NO PARKING" and where the red reflectors are on the driveway. 2) Garage and Pool Equipment Area 3) Any locked doors to Bedrooms and Closets Other things to note RULES: We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful family memories in our cozy home. For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you can follow the following house rules. **No children or pets - no exceptions. Any nondisclosed persons or animals will result in a $500/day fee.** - Renters MUST stay off neighbors property including boat docks. - We do not permit parties of any type, or large events at our home. - Quiet time in the neighborhood is 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. - No smoking inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains will be applied. - Please do not rearrange our furniture. - Fireworks are not allowed per city ordinance.
