The Stable: spacious and bright farm stay

There is lots of space to walk, relax and reflect at the farm. Nature trail, woodlot, open meadows and a brook. Great view of Adirondack Mountains to sit and read a book or visit. Five miles from Brandon, three miles to Lake Dunmore. Twelve miles to Middlebury. 45 minutes to Killington, Sugarbush. Half hour to Breadloaf. 45 minutes to Lake Champlain, ferries, bridge to NY state. Biking, hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, skiing, local wineries, beers, arts.... The Stable is inside of our main barn: easy to access, a spacious 32x16 room with a private full bath. The entrance is shared into the main barn, though the room is private and secure. There are two dressers, a closet, a king-size bed, sofa bed, recliner, nightstand, kitchen table and chairs, cupboard, Roku TV, Keurig, microwave and refrigerator with top freezer. Light, bright during the day with four windows, which have dark shades. Farm consists of 57 acres of meadows, pastures, gardens and woodlot. Plenty of parking space, as well as space for bikes, kayaks, boats, ski equipment... Rural area, yet a mile and a half to U.S. Route 7, main North-South route. We live at the farm, so are available as needed. Rural community, a general store a mile and half away with gas. Five miles to Brandon: restaurants, breweries, churches, Hannafords, Walgreens... Two miles to Fern Lake, 3 miles to Lake Dunmore. Rural area, dirt road. Plenty of parking onsite.
