Buffalo Suite @ Barking Mad Farm

The Buffalo Suite is a cozy 2-room suite with original hardwood floors. Just steps from the main deck and gardens with views of the mountains and often the buffalo next door, this is a comfortable place to relax and escape. The tiled period bathroom has a full bath/shower combo. The ‘bonus’ room has an antique brass twin bed. Use it as a place to spread out or for an extra guest to enjoy. Set in spectacular Wallowa County, Barking Mad Farm is a working farm and bed & breakfast situated on the Alder Slope. Views include grazing buffalo, the Eagle Cap Wilderness, and Idaho’s Seven Devils. Minutes away from Terminal Gravity Brewery, the artist community of Joseph, hiking trails, and Wallowa Lake. The Farm makes a great base for explorations of the Wallowa Mountains, Hells Canyon, and Zumwalt Prairie. Wallowa County is home to wolverines, moose, wolves, raptors and more. Whether its birding, brews, or bronze galleries - we’ve got it all! Hosts Emily & Rob look forward to sharing their favorite part of Oregon with you. Two private bedrooms and bathroom. Main house with garden, wrap-around porch, and dog park are shared with other guests and hosts. We are available at check-in to get you settled and answer any questions you may have. We often help with trip planning prior to arrival or after we serve breakfast each morning (May thru September) and are readily available by call or text and live on site.
