Wi-fi is available 24x7 and is strong enough to support video conferences for remote work. The 60" smart TV has You Tube, Netflix and many other apps, available with your own login. Covered Car parking to protect your vehicle from elements of nature. For a 4-guest stay, the house has two cozy bedrooms, a recliner and futon couch in the living room, and 1 bathroom, a 4-seater dining table, and a gorgeous partially covered wrap-around deck. If your group has 5 or 6 guests, you will have access to the den/third bedroom with an attached bath, with the extra person fee. The house also features a full size fridge and a full kitchen with dishes and flatware for six. Pots and pans, a toaster, a slow cooker and coffee maker with coffee, sugar, creamer and tea provided. All linens and towels provided. Running hot water 24x7. Closets, hangars and an iron are also available for your use. Front door has a screen to keep the bugs out! Walking trails in the woods behind the property provide gorgeous morning walks to the sounds of birds and a gurgling river. Or watch the valley as the sun rises, from the nearby cliff. Enjoy your breakfast at the picnic table on the deck as the sun warms up the day. Look forward to grilling your dinner under the stars; or huddle up around the firepit and stay warm on a cool evening. Watch the deer frolic on the property or lie back in the hammock and watch the stars at night. Relax! Enjoy yourself in the heart of nature. Washer and dryer are available for guest stays of 5 days or longer. You will need your own vehicle to get around here as it is a secluded location. You will have a covered sheltered parking space once at the house. We want to make sure you have an easy check in. You'll be provided with an access code to the lock box with the front door key prior to check-in. You will also get a local number you can call or text in case of any issues. It's that easy! Basic amenities, convenience store, gas and food available within 5 minutes driving distance. While at home, watch deer and rabbits, or look at the mountains or just read a book on the deck. If you want more excitement, the Blue Ridge Parkway is 0.5 miles away. 20 mins from the Blue Ridge Music center. Close to Crooked Creek wildlife management area, Hillsville, Galax and Mount Airy. There is an information book of nearby wineries, breweries, restaurants, ziplining and hiking trails nearby in the house for you. Close to many outdoor activities; access the New River Trail in Galax, Foster Falls State Park, Fries, and Draper with over 50 miles of hiking, bicycling, or horseback riding. Visit nearby state parks such as Foster Falls, Clayton Lake, Fairy Stone, Grayson Highlands, the Shot Tower, and Pilot Mountain. Enjoy Bluegrass music at the General Store in Floyd, Thursday night jam in Fries, and Friday night performances at the Rex Theater in Galax. Music festivals include Floydfest, Houston Fest, Galax Fiddlers Convention and the Fries Fiddlers Convention. Off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Fancy Gap is the Blue Ridge Music Center, Mabry Mill, or Chateau Morrisette Winery and Restaurant. 28 miles south into NC is Mt. Gorgeous walking trails are within minutes from the house. Cafes and quaint local eateries in Fancy Gap and nearby Hillsville. Shop the local road side markets while driving through Cana to Mt. Airy.
