This 1920's cozy boutique bungalow is offered at a monthly discount for those that need a change of scenery , need to work in the area, or want to be closer, yet separate from loved ones. This stylish retreat has an abundance of natural light that flows throughout the entire home. All living is done on one floor. Enjoy a restful night sleep in this quiet neighborhood located above the newly developed Merchant Street where new breweries and coffee shops are beginning to spring up. This is a weekly minimum stay. Newly renovated home with new kitchen, bathroom, and 1 bedroom and 1 office. Washer and dryer access in basement. Abundance of off -street parking. The kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and all of the utensils, dishes, cups and glasses you will need. We will also provide basic cooking supplies such as pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper. All-access/Entire Home Either myself or a family member will be available in person most days of the week or I am a quick phone call away. Once the strong arm of the Arsenal of Democracy, Ambridge had been deeply wounded by the fallout of the steel industry in the 1980's. Recently, Ambridge has been rejuvenated by a beautiful new streetscape and entrepreneurs who are opening new bars, breweries, restaurants, and coffee shops. Grab a pizza at one of our two famous pizzerias or grab a steak salad and cocktail at the Bridgetown Taphouse. Take a walk down the up and coming Merchant Street and see the works in progress or stroll into the historical district of Old Economy and learn the colorful history of the German religious sect called the Harmonites. The neighborhood is nestled into the hill overlooking the town and Ohio river. It is a family neighborhood that is quiet and safe. Relax on the front porch or back deck with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. 25-30 minutes from Pittsburgh. 20 min to Airport and Robinson Twp. 25-30 minutes to Cranberry. 20-25 minutes to Wexford and the North Hills. 7 min to Sewickley. 15 minutes to Beaver. Walk to a brewery or restaurant on Merchant Street in minutes. 15 minute walk to historical district of Old Economy. Public bus line is a 4 minute walk to Merchant Street. Route 65 access - 3 minute drive There are a few steps down and up upon entering the home. All living is on one floor. There are steps down into the basement for laundry.
