Tranquil Getaway on the Long Island Sound

The house is within a 3-minute walk to Morgan Park with shaded trails, picnic tables, a playground, and a quiet beach. The neighborhood is quaint, and the backyard is lush with evergreens and shade that is perfect for great conversations, some light music, and your favorite book or a game of cards. We are excited to share the comforts of our home and meet new friends! There are 3 private guestrooms and 2 bathrooms in a lovely single-family home. Upstairs, the guestroom has black furniture with a queen bed, next to it a smaller room with natural wood furniture has a double bed. These 2 rooms share the large restroom. Downstairs is a guestroom with white furniture and a double-twin (twin that pulls out to become a double twin), and a private bathroom adjacent. Each room has ample storage space and a workspace shall you decide on a prolonged stay! Breakfast, snacks, coffee, and tea will be provided, and guests are welcome to use the common areas on the ground floor and the backyard. Please note the cost of this listing assumes that 2 guests will stay in each room, so maximum of 6 guests. The cost up to 4 people is the same and the 2 larger rooms will be open for your use (the rooms with black furniture and white furniture, each with its own private bathroom). The cost for 5 or 6 people incrementally increases by $60/night/person and the 3rd room will be open for your use. **But if you are a party of 3 or 4 who wish to use all 3 rooms, please book for a party of 5 as we would still need to prepare and clean the 3rd room (natural wood furniture with double bed). This is a residential neighborhood, so if you plan to explore further into Long Island, you will most likely come with your own car, which can be parked safely right outside the house. If you are coming from the city without your own vehicle, you could arrive via LIRR to Glen Street Station, and take an Uber or a local taxi. Pickup or drop-off to the LIRR could be arranged depending on the hosts' availability. This is our primary residence, so we will be around to help you with anything you need during your stay. We enjoy meeting people and curious discussions, but we are also happy to give you space if you prefer more quiet time. 3 minute walk to Morgan Park and Beach On-site parking available for 1 vehicle per room. If you plan on arriving by LIRR, pickup and drop-off can be coordinated if hosts are available.
