This Southern-style home is a short walk to downtown on the trail along the Bluff. Walk in the other direction to visit the historic Natchez City Cemetery, always peaceful and quiet. Sitting on the covered front porch, you can enjoy the park-like setting. Inside, are high ceilings and spacious, open living areas — typical of a turn-of-the-century Southern home. If you're musical, there's a baby grand piano to enjoy. My place is good for couples, families and business travelers. A Southern style home built in 1925 with a large covered front porch, surrounded by landscaped gardens. Inside there are 12 foot ceilings and spacious open plan living areas. An electric fireplace gives ambience especially in the cooler months. A Large spacious kitchen allows everyone to gather around, enjoying each other's company. There are two bedrooms featuring a queen bed in one and a queen bed and a day bed in the other. There is full laundry facilities in the home for the use of guests, all laundry supplies are provided Guests have ample parking in front of the home and easy access to unload luggage, and walking distance to the downtown area. The side driveway is for guests staying in the back cottage. I am usually in town, and always available by phone, to ensure our guests have everything that they need, during their stay. Beautiful old neighborhood full of homes built in the early 20th century and the historical cemetery close by. Quiet with little traffic, it is lovely to take a stroll. We are a small town with not much public transportation, but we have a cab service. You can drive from one end of town to the other in about 10 mins. But with everything within walking distance, you can leave the car behind if you wish. Natchez is a beautiful, old southern town sitting on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River. Beautiful old neighborhoods full of homes built in the early 20th century. Quiet with little traffic. It is safe to walk around. You will definitely feel welcome in Natchez.
