Bedroom with king bed and bathroom that is not inside the bedroom, but right next to the bedroom and is not used by others in the house. This is the larger of the two rooms available at this address. It has a bathroom right next to it that is not used by others. Located near the kitchen with doors to the outside deck. Guests have access to kitchen and a shared TV room. If you want coffee, let Mary know what time you'll be waking. Guests should plan to entertain themselves. Jim and I both have full time work while in Maine for the summers and we are on California time which is three hours earlier than Maine. For this reason, joining you for coffee in the morning is not likely. It's best to try to get with us between 6pm and 8pm if you have questions. We generally keep to ourselves, but don't mind interacting with guests when we have the time and energy. We're not late night folks and rarely stay up past 9pm, but that doesn't mean you have to do the same! Stay up as late as you like, but please keep other guests in mind and observe quiet time from 10pm to 6am. Beautiful Bass Harbor home in a park-like setting! Close to downtown Southwest Harbor. Nearby Bass Harbor Lighthouse provides public access to one of the best sunsets on the island! Also near Wonderland Trail. Owner can provide rides to JAX labs during normal business hours. Coffee pot is set for 6:30 am. Cups are in the china hutch, creamer in the fridge, and sugar is next to the coffee pot. If you're doing a sunrise hike and want coffee in the morning before you leave, just ask for an earlier automatic brew time before you go to bed.
