Private apartment in rural home
Enjoy privacy and convenience in our ground-level 3-room apt. You can sleep late in the quiet space, or rise early, watch the birds, and go for a walk. Just a hop-skip to town, and a few minutes to the mountain. Guests love relaxing in the hot tub after a big day, or a dip in the pool in the summer. Beautiful location! Only 90 minutes north of NYC! This 3 room apartment is located on the ground level of a private home on a very quiet road just 2 miles from the center of New Paltz. It is also located near SUNY College and Rosendale. There is lots of culture in and around town, and extensive natural beauty in the area. The Wallkill River is close by and it takes just 10 minutes to get to The Gunks, Mohonk Preserve, and Minnewaska State Park with its beautiful lake for swimming, mountain biking and hiking. We have a SWIMMING POOL(June-Aug.) and HOT TUB (all year) that you are welcome to use. The flagstone patio is available for fresh air, outdoor eating, and has an awning for shade. The living room has a Queen-size Murphy bed for your friends or children. The Kitchen has a breakfast bar. There is also a full bath. This apartment has a private entrance and there is ample parking. Outdoor (above ground) swimming pool June through August, sheltered hot tub all year, sit outside with your coffee/tea, stroll around the gardens or use the picnic table. You get a full welcome and tour, advice on what to do/where to go if you wish, then we stay out of your way. We are available for questions or problems most of the time. It's a quiet dead-end road, so you can just step out for a walk around the neighborhood. Big trees, and birds to spot. There is a UCAT bus that goes around the county and over to Dutchess, but within town, a car or cab is pretty much needed. Sorry, no pets. Please don't ask; this is not negotiable.
