Cozy Home Away from Home

Bright, comfortable room in a quiet neighborhood, within short driving distance to numerous shops, restaurants, the Town Dock (sunset over the bay!) and the only direct train into Manhattan from Long Island. Unlimited tea and/or coffee included. My home is in a quiet neighborhood in a great town, with plenty to do and see on a short visit. The room is furnished with a desk, dresser, full-sized bed, refrigerator, electric tea kettle, smart TV, and a closet. It is just steps away from the full bathroom. WiFi is excellent and there's plenty of free parking on the street in front of the house. My guests have access to the kitchen, dining room, 1 1/2 baths (shared), garden with deck, and for longer stays, the laundry. The amount of interaction with my guests depends on the needs of my guests. I am happy to help you navigate the town and give you tips on restaurants and other things to do or see in the area, but I also respect your privacy needs. My house is situated on a corner lot in an attractive, quiet suburban neighborhood. The town of Port Washington has a lot to offer both residents and visitors, and I will be happy to go into detail about that when you arrive! I am located a few miles from Main Street, the train station and the bus, so it is best if you have a car available. There is an excellent taxi service in our town, however. There are a couple of good restaurants, a grocery store and a pharmacy nearby, about a mile from my home. Please be advised that I have a cat, and also that both bathrooms are shared.
