Only 5 miles from Bryson City or Cherokee, this 2 bedrooms and one bath value priced cabin has everything you need for a relaxing getaway, but is convenient to favorite things to do in the Smokies and Cherokee. Mountain views are everywhere, and the large lawn around the cabin leads to the Oconaluftee River right outside the front door. Duke Power's new fishing dock with kayak and canoe put-ins and the Lake Ela put-in at the Lake Ela Dam are just steps away. The Oconaluftee Dam is just a short walk upstream. Kayak or Fish from the front of the cabin and enjoy grilling your catch on the outdoor BBQ grill. Your meals can be enjoyed outside at the picnic table or at the inside table or breakfast bar. The cozy kitchen with breakfast bar is also an excellent spot for home-cooked meals. The gas-log fireplace will entertain you at night any time of year. Relax on the comfortable sofa or recliner while watching your favorite shows, movies and sporting events on the wide screen satellite TV. The master bedroom at Bryson City/Cherokee River Cabin has a queen bed. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed. The sleeper sofa in the living room opens out for extra sleep space. THIS CABIN DOES NOT HAVE A LAND LINE OR INTERNET, AND CELLULAR SERVICE IS NOT GUARANTEED *If the number of people in your party exceeds the "Sleep in Beds" number for the cabin, there will be an additional charge of $10 per night for each person over the "Sleeps in Beds" number up to the "Max sleeping" number.* All bookings are subject to local restrictions in place at the time of the stay.
