Castle Loft - Private Room in the Egyptian House

The Castle Loft is a cozy space up a short flight of stairs from the entry hall. It is the only room on the second floor and like the rest of the house has been recently renovated. While the room is not visible from the first floor, it does not have a door. When not relaxing in the Castle Loft enjoy the open floor plan of the first floor with sunken living room. dining room. large kitchen. 2 full shared bathrooms, washer and dryer, and large yard. Private room in the famous Egyptian house - features full size bed with memory foam mattress classic furnishings ceiling fan, dedicated heater/air conditioner, rug-covered hardwood floors, a small desk (upon request) and a 32" TV connected via wifi services (Netflix provided). The house is equipped with high speed internet and cable TV in the living room. John lives in the house with his dog, Aspen, and is your onsite host. Our neighborhood is a mixture of residential and business. It is quiet and peaceful here as the property is surrounding on 2 sides by a farm and sits back from the road. There is plenty of off street parking and public transportation runs on our street. A car, however is preferable to best enjoy the area. We are close to major roads and the interstate, historic sites, Christiana Mall, University of Delaware, Wilmington and Philadelphia airports. We have a big driveway and plenty of off street parking. This home also has 2 other room listings available for booking: King's Chamber and Castle Loft. We often have multiple guests staying with us in this shared home. Also on the property are 2 private, one-bedroom apartments: Blue Tranquility & Green Sanctuary. This home is appropriate for travelers, business trips, short term living needs, and work-from-home/online work from your room. This home is not appropriate for romantic getaways, group business meetings, parties, or events. This property is also not appropriate for booking as an address simply to receive packages and other deliveries; it is a place for overnight rest/sleep. We allow smoking outside only - legal tobacco products or vaping. Recreational cannabis use is illegal in Delaware. We don't allow cannabis on the property. We don't allow medical-use cannabis here either, since we don't have the privacy required by law - we are a public space. Discreet use of alcoholic beverages is allowed, but drunkenness is not.
