This 2020 built 2BD/ 1BA condo offers a modern mountain feel, plush with new amenities, and a prime location sought out by High Country vacationers year-round! Main & Pine is the newest resident of Downtown Blocking Rock, North Carolina. We are located steps away from all downtown shopping/ dining options in the heart of North Carolina’s most beloved mountain town. Main & Pine offers six boutique condos reserved exclusively for nightly rentals. The condos are located on the 2nd level, offering fantastic views of the bustling town of Blowing Rock below. Upon entry, the kitchen is the first space to greet you. You will find yourself surrounded by modern appliances, gorgeous quartz counter-tops, and an island encircled by spacious cabinetry, filled with enough utensils and cookware to whip up a gourmet meal if you so desire. We also offer a coffee station stocked with coffee, green tea, hot cocoa, and apple cider to get your day started off right for the duration of your stay. As you transition out of the kitchen into the living area, you will find plush furniture, a stone fireplace, and an HDTV creating the perfect spot for some relaxation time when you're not out exploring all that Blowing Rock and the surrounding area has to offer. Dogwood also features extremely fast Wifi on 2.4 or 5G channels, both allowing for you to remotely work/or home school for the duration of your visit. There are two bedrooms off the living area where you will find soft linens, comfortable mattresses, and stylish mountain charm. Our bathroom is spectacular with subway tile, an unfinished ship lap accent wall (pine of course), and comes fully stocked with shampoo and body wash, plus toiletries and towels for your stay. Dogwood also features a washer and dryer in case you need to do any laundry during your stay. Main & Pine features a covered private parking garage to protect your vehicle from the elements and our elevator will help you get all your luggage and those great shopping finds up to your unit for safekeeping. You will be within walking distance of everything Main St in Blowing Rock has to offer and only a very short ride away from a smorgasbord of dining, shopping, and outdoor activities. Located directly on Main St. you will find yourself within walking distance to an abundance of shopping and dining options sure to please even the most discerning palate. We truly love them all and suggest you stop in each shop and establishment up and down Main Street to discover the different offerings. To help you get started on your journey, let us detail a few of our personal favorites as starting points for your trek up and down Main and around Blowing Rock. We highly recommend Kilwin’s if you have a sweet tooth and High Country Candles is a must see (make sure you catch them in the act of making the candles, such an interesting experience). Finley House Couture and Monkees are great places to shop for designer clothing and handbags on Main. If you’re in need of any hiking or camping equipment and clothing to go exploring the vast amount of trails Blowing Rock has to offer, we always look to Footsloggers, they have a great selection and have been serving the High Country since 1971. The Town Tavern, Six Pence Pub, The Speckled Trout and Blowing Rock Brewery are all great places to grab a beverage. Venturing off Main St, Bistro Rocco is a must when it comes to dinner plans featuring an upscale casual bistro and bar serving New American comfort foods and pizza from a wood burning oven. If you’re looking for a view with your meal, then the Ridgeline is the place to go, nestled on the side of the 321, it offers breathtaking views and great food too! Gamekeeper Restaurant and Bar is also a great dinner stop featuring rustic fine dining within a 1950’s era stone cottage specializing in locally sourced game. We highly recommend a trip to the iconic Dan’l Boone Inn Restaurant, located just a very short drive away, they feature down-home southern comfort food served family-style in one of the town’s oldest buildings, make sure you plan a visit for Saturday or Sunday for a full family style breakfast.
