Quiet, cozy central Maine cabin

Quiet, cozy cabin located in central Maine, surrounded by prime recreation, scenery, and hunting areas. Rustic, stylish cabin with lots of flair and room to stretch out. The cabin is outfitted for lovers of the outdoors, with kayaks, hammock, grill, fire ring, and a scenic backyard where you’ll see lots of wildlife. We outfit the indoor space with comforts of home and encourage year-round use; if you’re like us, you’ll find that staying in with a book or a movie is just as relaxing during the off season as enjoying the outdoors. Additional amenities include electricity, plumbing, full kitchen, and ample heat from a gas furnace and wood stove. We will not be present at any point during your stay—the place is all yours! That being said, we are available via text, phone, etc. during your stay if you have any questions or concerns. Our home is on a sizable plot of wooded land with room to relax; the nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away. The property abuts the 6k acre Bud Leavitt wildlife management area & is located directly on extensive ATV/snowmobiling trails. Also located near lakes, parks, and hiking; about 20 minutes from Sebec Lake, 45 minutes from Greenville and the Moosehead Lakes region, and 2 hours from Acadia. Our home is located off of ~3 miles of dirt road. We strongly advise four-wheel or all-wheel drive. For reference, we drive a Honda Element, which works great.
