Stylish, Shared Apartment for the Perfect Get Away
This amazing apartment is located in the Little Village community in Chicago. Little Village is the heart of the Mexican community because it's vivid representation of the Mexican culture. In addition, the apartment is close to two Chicago parks where you can enjoy a walk or a bike ride. You have a private room for yourself. The large kitchen offers you all the space necessary to embrace your culinary talent with the new cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. In addition, you have access to the attic that has a working space and an extra mattress. You have access to the living room, attic, backyard, and kitchen. Feel free to use the backyard to relax or do yoga. In addition, you will have a parking space in the back for your car rental! I am a very sociable person that loves to go out and dance. I like to go Bachata/Salsa dancing during the week. In addition, I go out to watch sports at a sports bar and hang out with friends. You are more than welcome to join me in any of my adventures in the city. Just let me know! If you start on one end of 26th Street, it might take you a while to get to the other. This commercial district that anchors the Little Village neighborhood (known as La Villita in Spanish but also more formally as South Lawndale) stretches an impressive two miles. It's an authentic slice of home for the Mexican-American community that resides here and is a port of entry for many incoming Latinos. Amid colorful murals, you'll find just about every kind of small business on this street: ethnic grocery stores, mouthwatering bakeries, a delightful candy shop, plus storefronts filled with everything from dazzling quinceañera party dresses to leather Western wear. But for those who pass under the terra cotta Bienvenidos a Little Village archway looking for a true taste of the "Mexico of the Midwest," you won't be disappointed. Follow your senses and you may pick up the jingle of the passing paletero (push cart vendors selling fruity ice cream bars) or maybe the sweet smell of fresh tortillas from El Milagro Tortilleria. Once that has duly whet your appetite, stop into one of the many taquerias serving up made-to-order tacos or just grab a bite to go from the food carts that line the street. The community is pretty safe. The house is located a block away from several bus stops that take you downtown and four blocks away from the Pink line train station that takes you anywhere in the city. In addition, there are Divvy bikes and scooters available in the neighborhood. The apartment is a shared space. My mom and I live there. We will be in and out for work or other errands. Feel free to make this your space.
