We're on town amenities, can sleep 4 guests, Wifi available for remote work, free parking on premise for 2 cars and great outdoor space for grilling and enjoying a fire under the stars. Come enjoy all Muskoka has to offer. Classic Canadiana Cabin conveniently located in the heart of Bala at the cusp of Lake Muskoka and Moon River. Our cabin is cozy, simple yet authentic with a theme that gives a nod to the true north. Quaint living room area with 2-bedrooms to accommodate couples or families. Larger bedroom includes small work area, day bed, and queen bed. Bedroom two includes double bed. Bathroom is euro-style with the toilet and shower in separate rooms and entire space is clean and newly renovated. Outdoor space is dreamy! Under the wind-swept pines, you'll find a fire pit with seating, large dining table under a retractable awning to enjoy delicious meals and laughs. The best part is a quintessential outdoor kitchen with gas and charcoal BBQ's! The bar area is perfect for a buffet set up that leaves room for a sangria bar. If that wasn't enough, take in the sunset on our Southern facing front porch. All this under the stars with sound of the Bala Falls in the background. This cottage is unique as it boasts the best of both worlds. You're a walk away from town amenities, on town services such as electricity and water (yes - you can drink it), while having lake views with the town dock just steps away for swimming or drifting down the Moon River in a kayak. Your nose will lead you to Don's Bakery to the left (opens in May), and Hook and Ladder for an amazing breakfast. In town, you'll find Fresh Mart, LCBO, Oliver's Gourmet Coffee, Bala Falls Pub and Jack & Stella to name a few of our favourites. Bala is known for the famous Kee that has hosted legends like The Hip, Kim Mitchell, Drake, Blue Rodeo and even Louis Armstrong. We're only 500 metres away so perfect when concerts resume!
