West Rush Lake - Cabin with fishing off pier

Welcome to our cabin, Xanadu, with 50’ frontage on West Rush Lake. Located just one hour north of the Twin Cities! Our 3 bedroom, 1 bath 975 sq foot cabin is the perfect place to make new memories anytime of the year! With a combined 3,000+ acres West and East Rush Lake offer anglers a variety of high-quality, fishing opportunities for walleye, musky and northern pike, with black crappie, bluegill and largemouth bass as secondary opportunities. Anglers come to West (and East) Rush Lake for year-round fishing! During warm weather months, use our dock- great to unwind with in the morning with a cup of coffee or the evening with a glass of wine (or beer if that is more your style!). Great fishing off the pier. The public access to the lake is only 2 miles down the road. Pontoon boat rentals nearby. Fire pit near lake to make the perfect s’mores and pudgie pies. We do provide 2 pudgie pie makers. Enjoy dinner on our deck that you have made on our charcoal grill or go out for dinner and a cocktail at one of the two restaurants on the lake. The Grumpy Minnow is just 2 miles away. Both the Grumpy Minnow and Flickabirds offer great dining options, outdoor patios and live music in the summer. If you want to venture out – one of MN best casino’s- Grand Casino Hinkley- is only 20 minutes away- or go to Braham known as ‘Homemade Pie Capital of Minnesota‘ and enjoy one of their famous pies. The cabin has 3 bedrooms: *Large bedroom in basement - Queen bed - overlooks lake. *Upstairs Bedroom 1 – King Bed *Upstairs Bedroom 2- Twin Bed Special Amenities: We provide both a Keurig and Ninja Coffee Maker- find Ninja recipes here: https://www.ninjakitchen.com/recipes/?q=&sort=Newest&tags=276&page=1 Wine Cooler that will cool 2 bottles of wine down to set temperature based on varietal 2 pudgie pie makers Smoothie Maker NOTE: There is no washer and dryer at the cabin. We will supply 6 bath towels, 4 washcloths, a dish towel and a dish drying towel. One comforter and sheet set for each bed. Please bring your own if more are needed for your visit. Nearest laundromat is about 8 minutes away in Braham. We do not provide charcoal for grill, firewood for firepit, nor K-cups for the Keurig. We provide 3 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towel, you may want to bring more NOTE: This home is in a quiet residential area. No more than 5 guests at the home. No parties or events. If our neighbors report a party and/or more than 5 guests, we will send someone over to verify. If we validate that you are hosting a party and/or have more than 5 guests you will need to leave immediately. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE- quiet time begins at 10 pm. Check In: 3 pm Check Out Before : 10 am (or $20+ late fee) Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund. Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund. You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay. Rules: Children allowed - Children are definitely welcome! We purchased this cabin to make memories with our grandson. No pets – pets not allowed. Owner has allergies so this is a firm no pet residence! No parties/events - This home is in a quiet residential area, no parties or events allowed Maximum Guests: 5 Minimum age of primary renter: 25 - Must be at least 25 to rent.
