The property includes a private river access, including stairs down to paved landing. There's a public access 1/2 mile up the road where you can put in your boat or kayak and explore the islands and watch for wildlife or if you're adventurous and experienced you can ride over Brooks falls for a thrill. Sandstone falls is 3 miles down stream. This 2 bedroom 1 bath is situated on the New River just above Brooks falls. Guests may enjoy fishing, boating, wildlife of all kinds, and the many state parks close by and the newly named New River Gorge National Park. there is a 3rd room with a futon for extra sleeping and a garage space to store your boats, bikes, or anything else. There is also a covered screened in porch on the front facing the river and a private deck with grill in back. House is situated on a private lot with no visible neighbors. Private steps down to river. The whole house. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, 1 extra room with futon, both porches, garage, yard, river access. we also have a camp down the road from this one that can also accommodate 4 people. ask for more info. It is a nature lovers atmosphere. Very laid back and relaxing. If you are just visiting the falls i would recommend a walk or a bike ride. Any where further than that you will need a vehicle. A shuttle can also be arranged. There are bicycles available if desired.
