Coeur d'Alene's best kept secret, Harrison is something out of a romantic movie. You'll fall in love with the Harrison Hideaway, a beautiful, spacious, well appointed cabin, right on the lake! See deer and wild turkey through the large picture windows as you sip your morning coffee. A premium location, walk to the quaint downtown strip where you can enjoy restaurants and bars, rent bikes, boats, or take advantage of the trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, which is just a short walk from the cabin! The front porch is great place to relax and unwind. Inside you'll find two living spaces, a work space, full kitchen, and dining area. The bathroom is also on the main floor. Upstairs are four spacious bedrooms. One bedroom has an air mattress only, and is the perfect slumber party spot for the kids. We love watching deer and wild turkey stroll through the yard! Walk or use the provided bikes to get to town, eat delicious food, and go SUP paddle boarding (boards are provided!!) We could spend our whole vacation in Harrison, but taking the 40 minute drive to Coeur D'Alene is obviously a must! Guests have access to the entire cabin and surrounding yard, and the garage. A personal key code allows for a safe self check in. We provide two bikes and two stand up paddle boards. We are available from 8am-9pm by messaging through the app or calling/texting the Customer Service phone number provided in your check-in instructions. While we’re not available in person, we do have amazing neighbors and friends in the area who can make themselves available if absolutely necessary. As always, call 911 for emergencies. Quiet and friendly, this picturesque lakeside neighborhood has that small town feel you won't find anywhere else in Coeur d'Alene. Take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood and breathe in the crisp clean air, or walk downtown where you'll find the cutest park with play equipment, picnic tables, and a grassy area. The city park hosts several events throughout the year, including the 4th of July Firework show with live music and vendors. Also walking distance- The popular Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes trail entrance, a sandy beach with picnic tables, and the Harrison marina, where you can rent boats and have them delivered right to the dock. You're in for a treat if you walk into One Shot Charlie's, it's all the charm of Harrison packed in to one restaurant. You'll need to use your own vehicle, use bikes, or walk. Uber and Lyft are not available. In the winter, you will likely need 4 wheel drive or snow chains. There is a steep hill on the way to the cabin, but parking is flat. There is only one general store with limited groceries in Harrison. We suggest stopping in Coeur D'Alene to stock up on groceries if you're going to cook while you're here. There's a Costco, Safeway, and Target all right off the 95.
