Surrounded by 0.6 acres of lush Pines, with plenty of yard space, we are conveniently located in the Arrowbear Lake community. 10 min to Snow valley, 10 min to Santa’s Village/ (Hidden by Airbnb) ark, 20min to Lake Arrowhead and 30 min to Big Bear. Close to the snow play, trails and shopping! Our cute modern retro style cabin, furnished with vintage and modern conveniences, lets you escape and enjoy mountain life and the surrounding mother nature. Also see Fun Facts listed below. Our cozy cabin features a Living room with fireplace, mounted TV, and surround sound system with AUX output, ROKU with Netflix, letting you enjoy great movie nights or just chill to your favorite music. Vintage touches throughout the cabin including button switches and a O’keefe & Merritt stove with matching fridge. Airfryer, microwave, washer and dryer are provided for modern conveniences. Children’s dishware, flatware & cups are provided. We also have a BBQ grill on the deck for your morning bacon or evening burgers, or simply enjoy the beautiful sunset on the deck bar as you watch the world unwind. You will have access to the entire cabin plus 0.6 acre of property! The loft is prohibited for safety reasons. Check-in: After 3:00 PM Checkout: 11:00 AM Self check-in : lock box next to Front Door under the window AC No smoking No Pets No parties or events IMPORTANT NOTE: If you encounter any issue at the listing please do contact us first via Airbnb messaging thread for us to be able to assist you. Please give us a chance to help address any mistakes. We value all reviews and strive to make ever guest's experience memorable. Please take into consideration this is a home in the mountains. We are diligent in our cleaning, but spiders and ants are not uncommon to see being we are in the forest. This is not a cleaning issue, but a nature issue. We do spray for preventative maintenance. Maximum number of guests are 6. NO SHOES in the house, please. Please leave them at the foyer. We would also like to clarify the cleaning fee. This cost is the cover the laundry, sanitization, basic cleaning and expendables like paper products and soap. Please be respectful of our staff and tidy up after yourself. Dishes, spills, trash or cooking messes should not be left for someone to address. We appreciate your courteous and well mannered cooperation with this. OCCUPANCY: Please stay within the number of overnight guests per your booking; If you are going to have an additional guest, please let us know ( subject for approval). Any person who will step in the listing will be considered as an additional guest and maybe subject to $100 per person. GUEST ACCESS: You will have access to the entire cabin, minus the loft. You are welcome to enjoy our 0.6 acres lot. Enjoy for reading, sunbathing, relaxing, BBQ, etc on our large deck . Kids must be supervised when outside of home. Please DO NOT go to the nerighbor's yards. NOISE: Observe quiet hours between 10 pm and 7 am. , that is, no loud music, no loud conversations. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: For early check-in please let us know at least 1 day prior to your reservation date (subject for approval). For late check out we do collect $20 every hour if it is authorized and $25 every 15 minutes if it is not authorized. CHECKOUT INSTRUCTION: *Trash- If you have more than one bag worth, please take it with you or put bring them to the silver trash bins behind the house( on Deer Lick) or leave $10 for the cleaners. Excessive trash will incur a $20 fee if it does not fit in the bin. *Please wash your dishes and put them away. *Please close any windows that were opened during your stay. *Please keep hallway light( outside bathroom) on when you leave. *Please lower thermostat at 55F when you leave. FIREPLACE: We do not provide Logs for the fireplace. Please purchase only drywood like Oak and Maple. Please ensure to read Fireplace Safety in the handbook before using the fireplace. NO SMOKING of any kind is permitted anywhere on the premises. We do collect $200 if you smoke in the listing. DAMAGE: Guest is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy. CANCELLATION: We do not refund based on the weather. If you are coming during the snow season, be prepared! There is a shovel on-premises if it snows during your stay as we will only clear the snow once before your arrival. * Violations of our county code will result in the termination of the reservation without refund. PARKING: -No parking on the street and no more than 2 cars. This is required by the county code and is strictly enforced. BIG BEAR MOUNTAIN AND SNOW SUMMIT SKI RESORT (25 min drive) LAKE ARROWHEAD VILLAGE (20 min drive. Beautiful village and lake) SANTA'S VILLAGE (15 min drive. ziplining, axe throwing, christmas goodies) SNOW VALLEY SKI RESORT (5 min drive. Great local ski & snowboard mountain) SNOWDRIFT TUBING PARK (5 min drive. Great for kids and adults alike) BLUE JAY VILLAGE (15 min drive. Cute little town with the area's only movie theater) GREEN VALLEY LAKE (10 min drive. Nice little lake town to visit and swim) CEDAR GLEN (15 min drive. Nice antique shop and amazing old malt shop) FAWNSKIN (20 min drive. Great hikes and gorgeous Big Bear Lake views) HIKING - A plethora of great hikes exist all over the mountain including our favorites, Keller's Peak and Aztec Falls. check out (Website hidden by Airbnb) Before heading up the mountain, please make sure to check local weather conditions and traffic reports to be prepared as snow chains will be enforced by CalTrans during snowy weather and when the roads are icy. You may be turned away if unprepared. AWD vehicle is recommended. Fun Facts: We have a vacant chicken coop on the property which had once housed chickens that stopped traffic on Hwy 18!! They have since been re-homed. We have a Peach tree by the entrance of the driveway . Apples, cherry, Plum and one other fruit tree at the back of the house. If in season, please enjoy them. If you have noticed, there are button switches on the wall. They are from the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s. We love them and want to preserve them, so please refrain from playing with them. Water in the natural Spring comes from the surrounding mountains. Water levels will rise or fall depending on season. The cabin is lovingly adorned with several handmade wood pieces, including the bathroom sink cabinet, bathroom door and the decorative wall ladder in the living room.
