Palisades Villa is an elegant home to host your family and friends. Located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from town, Rosario Resort, and Cascade Lake in Moran State Park. This three-level, water view home is a private retreat. With an open floor plan, there's plenty of space to share meals and fun. The bedrooms offer private balconies and fine bedding. The main deck is perfect for outdoor dining, BBQ, and relaxation in the sun. Come stay with us in the heart of Orcas Island! Each bedroom provides a comfortable bed with pressed linens, a reading area, and exceptional views. The Master and Water View bedrooms both have private balconies. We take care in providing a pristine environment, meeting the highest standards in cleanliness for our guests. The Master bedroom ensuite has a comfy King bed with a private balcony overlooking the water. The spacious master bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo and double vanity. Guest amenities are fragrance free, with plenty of towels, a walk-in closet, and extras. The Guest bedroom with a Full-size bed has a bathroom ensuite that's shared with the Water View bedroom. With a reading area and plenty of closet space, this bedroom offers a view of the madrona forest and a quiet place to retreat. It has a tub and shower combo with a large vanity and guest amenities. The Waterview bedroom has beautiful views with a private balcony and King bed. With a reading area and large closet, it rivals the master bedroom for those sunset views! The Twin Bedroom is on the lower level of the house. With large windows to the madrona forest and water, it has two trundle single beds. With plenty of bedding and pillows, it's a perfect place for kids or single travelers. Please let us know if you have more than two people using the room, and we'll be sure to make up the trundle beds before your arrival. Remote work and school are a pleasure in our beautiful large office on the main floor. It includes a long desk, fireplace, sleeper sofa, and a private entry from the deck. We have reliable WiFI with speeds up to 40mbps which can be boosted throughout the house. The guest bathroom is off of the foyer and common area on the main floor. Downstairs the large family room provides a big screen TV with cable television and DVD player. There's a game table and games provided, or bring your own! Outside, there's dining for the whole family. A BBQ and two dining tables with chairs make outdoor living a breeze. Watch the sunset or enjoy a quiet morning listening to the birds. The water views and trees are spectacular. There's parking for two to three vehicles with a private, well-lit entry way along the side of the house. Come and enjoy the beautiful Palisades Villa! You'll be staying in the Rosario neighborhood of Orcas Island. The historical Rosario Resort is just a few minutes away. You'll find fine dining at The Mansion Restaurant, The Cascade Bar and Grill located right on the marina, and the Rosario Spa with hot tubs, sauna, gym and heated outdoor pool. Moran State Park is the green gem of Orcas Island. With over 6,000 acres of pristine forests, lakes and trails, Cascade Lake is walking distance from Palisades Villa. Hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and swimming are just a half mile away. Jump in the car, and you're only a few minutes from Eastsound where cafes, shops and music are happening. Maps to Moran State Park and Orcas Island are at the house, so you can easily find the trails and roads to your next adventure. We definitely recommend having a car for getting here and far-flung adventures. But once you're at Palisades Villa there's much you can access with a healthy walk or bike ride!
