Moreno's Cottages #4

Our cottages are clean and well kept. Situated on 3 acres, surrounded by forever wild state land. We offer free wi-fi, cable, fire pits, and grills. Conveniently located between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Open Mid May through October each year. Sorry, no pets. We offer year-round accommodation in Cabin #10, found on Airbnb as well. Cottage #4 has 2 queen memory foam beds and a full size sofa bed. There is also a screened in sitting porch off the rear bedroom. It also has a full kitchen. Both bathroom have stand up showers. We are a family business that takes pride in our property. We keep our cabins CLEAN and well maintained. We are only 5 minutes in either direction from Lake Placid and Saranac lake. We are right off highway 86 but our property is quiet and peaceful. We have free Wifi spread throughout the property. Our guests say the speed and signal strength are very good no matter where you stay. There are communal gas grills , Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, fire pits , and horseshoes all free for our guests to use. We sell firewood on the property as well. Parking is plentiful and free. There is a gas station within walking distance that carries groceries, sandwiches, beer, ice , etc. We are always on the property to answer any questions you may have We are in the heart of it all ! Downtown Lake Placid offers many shops and fine dining. The Olympic Venues are a must see for any first time visitors. Ski Jumps, Whiteface Mountain highway and chairlifts and the Bobsled run. Hiking and outdoor activities are abundant. We have climbed a few mountains ourselves and can offer some advice if you desire. The Scarface mountain trailhead is 50 yards from our property. There are taxi services available and bus service that can take you anywhere from Montreal to New York City. Moreno's cottages was founded by Tessie and Tony Moreno in 1923. Uncle Tony built this property by hand over the years and Aunt Tessie ran the place like a drill Sargent. We are constantly updating and remodeling to make our guests' stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
