The wraparound porch invites you to stay awhile in the heart of Amish Country. Hosts live onsite in Owners Suite, you have the entire house to yourselves! Booking allows exclusive use of all guest bedrooms, as well as all common spaces at Mayberry on 8. Enjoy our backyard around the fire pit or relax on our spacious patio and listen for the horse and buggies as they clip clop past Mayberry on 8. Our home is a beautiful place in the country located minutes from I80/90 and close to town. Our home is yours to enjoy! Your entrance is a keyless entry. Upon finalizing your reservation you will receive an email with information to download the August Lock app on your phone. This will allow a seamless entry into the house. Additionally you will be given a code to enter. The app and the 5 digit code will both give you access to Mayberry! As a whole house rental, you'll have full access to the house with four private bedrooms, dining room, kitchen and three restrooms. This is unlike any other stay in Northern Indiana. This home as an in-law quarters. The hosts live in the private in-law wing with a separate entrance. If you would like to meet the hosts they are happy to accommodate, or they will happily give you complete privacy if that is your preference. The backyard has become a favorite place for groups to hang out in and its yours to enjoy! Hosts are available by cell We love our beautiful downtown complete with flowers & flags on the light posts. Guests often call our little town "Mayberry" and indeed it is a very special place. Enjoy the self guided quilt gardens (seasonal) and the largest restaurant in Indiana only minutes from our home. Craft beer brewery and restaurants & shopping are downtown via a two minute drive or a nice walk. Parks, Pumpkinvine Bike Trail and coffee shops are two minutes away. If you are a biking enthusiast, take the Pumpkinvine Bike Trail east to Shipshewana and enjoy the markets, shopping, eating that makes this town so famous including our favorite eatery “JoJo’s Pretzels” or head the other direction to Goshen and enjoy one of several craft breweries along with many local restaurants. We are close to the Das Dutchman Essenhaus which is a 5 minute drive. 35 minute drive to Notre Dame, 15 minute drive to Shipshewana and Goshen. We are about 15 minutes from the I80/90 toll road and 45 minutes from the South Bend Airport. I like to think we are in the middle of it all...a great place for experiencing the many adventures that can be found in our area.
