Twin Cities Solo Room with a View and Breakfast

Our home is in a suburb near Minneapolis. We are near trails and two lakes. This room has a day bed made up for sleep. It's great for solo travelers. A second guest can stay in this small room with a comfortable air bed for an added charge. This room is on the first floor off of the great room - our dining room and kitchen. 15 minutes by car from Minneapolis - best of both worlds: bucolic area and close to the city! We share breakfast. All vaccinated guests are welcome with vaccination card. We are happy to share our home with you, our guests. We have met people from all over the US and all over the world. We serve breakfast and coffee, and we have tea and juice. The views are of trees, birds, deer and wild turkeys. We want you to feel at home when you visit. We have a cat, Sadie. As we have other listings on the premises, expect to meet other guests here. In our home, you will have your room and a shared bathroom that is connected to your room, as well as access to the public areas. This includes our great room, which is the kitchen and dining room, the second floor living room, a two-sided wrap-around porch and a smaller deck outside of the living room. The first floor bathroom has recently been remodeled. You also have access to the second floor bathroom. Most of the time, at least one of us will be in the house. In that case, we socialize as our time permits and as you like! We're also happy to leave you to your work or your privacy, if you prefer. When we're not in town, we'll have another person available and possibly staying in the house to help with whatever you need. This is a beautiful suburban neighborhood filled with trees and near parks, lakes and trails. We are also near Main Street in Hopkins, MN, where there are cool restaurants and shops. The General Store of Minnetonka is west of here on Highway 7. There's a cafe there and fun Minnesota items to buy for yourself or gifts. Nearby malls include Knollwood, east on Highway 7 in St. Louis Park and Ridgedale Mall north on Plymouth Road. We're 20 minutes from the airport and the Mall of America. It's easiest to get around by car to and from our house. The public transportation in this area is not good. We have guest bicycles for you to borrow. There is a nearby public tennis court you can use, and there are trails and parks to walk or bike to. You can use Uber or Lyft to and from our house.
