The man door that faces the lake, should not ever be locked. Lights are located on the left side of the door as one enters the building. There is a short step in, so please be careful, particularly when carrying things in and out through that door and/or at night. There is a lockbox with the key for the studio located to the left of the studio door. Light switches for the stairway and the garage are located on the right as one enters the small foyer. If you or your guest would have difficulty navigating these types of stairs, you may want to consider another location. In order to help preserve the wood floor, we ask that all footwear be removed at either the first level or at the second landing. There are hooks to hang wet clothing as well. Please do not leave damp or wet garments, towels, backpacks, etc., on the wood floor. There is a hanging rack that can be rolled into the kitchen, placed by the fridge, to keep moisture on the tile. If you need the garments for the next day, they can be washed/dried (fee) provided said items are machine washable. There is no smoking in the studio or downstairs.
