Governor's Mansion Inn - Rusk Room

Queen room in a historic downtown boutique hotel that was the first official Governor's Mansion of Wisconsin. There were 17 sitting governors that lived here while in office, including Fighting Bob La Follette, the founder of the Progressive Party. We provide complimentary scones, coffee, fruit and tea each morning in the dining room. Free onsite parking. We require guests to be vaccinated and boosted against Covid (exceptions for medical.) For your safety and ours we require all guests to be fully vaccinated and with booster. Proof of such may be required at checkin. Unvaccinated guests over 12 years old with a valid medical restriction will be required to take a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 72-hours before check in and will provide printed proof of negative result at check in. Access is code based. A door code will be send to the email address on file with airbnb prior to arrival. We are in the Mansion Hill district and just 3 blocks to the State Capitol, 3 blocks to State Street and 5 blocks to the UW campus. We are downtown so leave your car at home.
