Balsam House is a stunning, recently renovated home that is a hop and skip away from nearby lakes. The house is enchanting, cozy and stocked with entertainment to wind down after a dip in one of Lapeer’s lake or a walk through downtown. Balsam House is perfect for adults and children as a quick, weekend refresher or a full week ‘out of office’ vacation. Our house is also equipped with WiFi for the binge watcher and the work-from-homer. The house is currently a contact-free interaction. After booking, we will give you a personalized code to access the house. Though we are always near, you have everything you need for getting around Balsam House with our guidebook. Balsam House is near many public beaches that are suited for swimming and sunbathing. Downtown Lapeer is just a 15 minute drive and is stocked with great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Note: There is limited parking in front of the house. Because of the private drive and lack of street parking, we can only allow 2 vehicles max. Balsam House is located on a dirt drive hill. Because of this, it can be slippery when covered in snow and ice. We highly recommend using a four-wheel drive vehicle if you are staying with us in the winter months.
