Just a half mile outside downtown Delafield, this charming, modern farmhouse is clean, updated and well stocked. There's plenty of space to have a peaceful, relaxing stay. Easy access to golf, lakes (like Nagawicka and Upper & Lower Nemahbin), parks (like Lapham Peak State Park), hiking, biking and x-country skiing. Enjoy walking access to restaurants and shops in Delafield. Just minutes off I-94 in Lake Country, conveniently located between Milwaukee and Madison. 30 minutes from Fiserv Forum. The updated farmhouse includes large master bedrooms with king beds on both the lower and upper levels. A third bedroom with twin beds is located on the upper level in addition to a spacious landing area with fold out floor beds. There are large, updated bathrooms on the lower and upper levels (upper features a soaking tub). The kitchen is well stocked and opens into the beautiful living room with built in shelves surrounding a cozy fireplace. A large dining table can easily accommodate your family and friends. Enjoy morning coffee or a meal on the screened porch looking out into a beautiful wooded area or peek-a-boo views of Nagawicka Lake. Perfect for a family stay, girls' weekend, wedding guests or when visiting students at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy. The house is located just minutes from downtown Delafield (short walk or even shorter drive) where you can enjoy fabulous restaurants, shopping, strolls along the bark river, wine tastings and more. Parking is available on the driveway or in the garage (2 cars can fit in the garage; driveway parking is limited to 2 cars for a total of no more than 4 cars). Guests have access to the entire home. We are available throughout your stay if you should need anything, but will stay out of your hair unless we're needed. Delafield is a charming town with many restaurant options both casual and fancy. Whether you're looking for morning coffee, an afternoon sandwich or a nice evening meal on a deck, you'll find an option. The area also has excellent access to outdoor activities like paddleboarding, hiking, biking, walking, golfing, boating, cross country skiing. Lapham Peak is just a few miles away and the Lake Country bike trail is less than 1 mile away. Guests will have access to the entire home and property, but are not allowed to hang out in the yard out of respect to our neighbors. The home is cooled through central AC (new this year!) We have a zero tolerance no pet policy. (We love animals, but this rule helps us maintain the property at a high standard so you can have an enjoyable stay.)
