Bus stops, movie theater, library, museums, swimming pool, fitness centers, playground, hospital and trails are minutes away. 8 min driving to LANL Badge Office. *** While our minimum stay is 2 weeks, we welcome shorter stays as well! Bookings for shorter stays are available in between and adjacent to longer bookings, and 1-7 days prior to the arrival date. For business travelers and LANL new hires we offer GOVERNMENT RATES. Please NOTE - there is also a $50 cleaning fee, which is on top of per diem. *** This well appointed two story townhouse is equipped with everything you need to make your stay in Los Alamos comfortable. The property is conveniently located close to LANL and downtown, and has off street parking directly in front of the unit. It also offers an easy exit to Santa Fe! Most of the units in the complex are occupied by LANL employees, offering a safe, family friendly environment. Two Large bedrooms and a full bath are located upstairs. Living room, kitchen, laundry room, and a half bath are downstairs. Living room opens to a shady patio with a gas grill. The backyard of this corner unit is fully fenced and is Very private. Evaporative cooling, air conditioner and ceiling fans keep home comfortable in summer. Large kitchen comes fully stocked with the essentials for cooking a real meal. It is complete with full sized refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee and espresso makers, toaster, mixer, portable griller. There are always a few varieties of coffee, tea, spices. Sometimes guests leave extra food in the fridge, feel free to use it, but please check the expiration date. Master bedroom has a King size bed, a second bedroom has a twin day bed with a second twin mattress that slides out from underneath. Bed linens, duvet covers, towels and a bath robe are provided. In the closets you will find extra towels, sheets, blankets, pillows. Air purifier and humidifiers are there as well to make your sleep more comfortable. Washer and Dryer are located in a laundry room within the unit. Complimentary laundry supplies are provided. In a laundry room there is also a full sized ironing board and an iron. We care about our guests with sensitivities, and only use fragrance free, dermatologists and pediatricians recommended laundry detergent for all bedding, towels, and bath robes. We care about your health and environment and try to use "green" cleaning products whenever possible. To make you feel more at home, we supplied apartment with plenty of books, toys, games, and puzzles for kids and adults (they have a closet of their own, in addition to a bookshelf and a TV cabinet). Families love them! For your convenience we've added a keyless digital lock which offers 24 hours check-in. If you like to bike, ask us about a bike. We have a free bike for our rentals, which can be reserved ahead of time. PLEASE NOTE, unfortunately the gas FIREPLACE IS OUT OF ORDER. Please do not try to operate it. The heating in townhouse is provided by the forced air heating. We have created a restful place that you can think of as your home away from home when you’re in Los Alamos.
