Our 8-room fully licensed and insured inn is located far from the roadway on acres of country serenity in Hallowell, Maine, surrounded by rolling fields and woods with trails, yet just 3 miles to great dining and boutique shopping, 4 miles to the interstate, and under 5 miles to the State Capitol in Augusta. There is convenient access from the hallway outside of this second-floor room to the sauna and outdoor hot tub. Common guest kitchen includes refrigerator and microwave plus full tableware. Sauna and outdoor hot tub available. We provide a personalized check-in with a tour of the entire inn, and we are available either at the front desk or via a phone call anytime to our apartment right on-site. Maple Hill Farm Inn is located in the idyllic countryside surrounded by rolling fields and woods. The nights are dark with views of the stars, and so peaceful you can hear the crickets sing. Neighbors are few and far between, but great restaurants and musical entertainment are just three miles away in the National Historic District of downtown Hallowell, and the state capitol building in Augusta, along with endless shopping opportunities, are less than five miles away. Your own car is really essential for getting around the area, although there are taxis available. There is plenty of free parking at the Inn. We are just ten minutes from the Augusta airport (AUG -- which is very small), the Portland Jetport (PWM) is just an hour away, and Bangor (BGR) is about an hour and 20 minutes to our north. Each guest room has a large flat-screen television with cable TV, a DVD player (a small library is available at the front desk), and a clock-radio-CD player that also has nature sounds.
