Glamping Garage/Tee Pee Tent, Brook, Hikers Dream!
We call this until our "Glamping Garage". What it is, is a 10'x17' portable garage with a queen sized bed inside. There are two wooden, Adirondack chairs, a Amish hickory rocker and some end tables with lamps on them. We have small LED lights around the perimeter of the garage and there a screen that you can pull across the door opening or just zip up the two doors. On the outside is a large firepit and a picnic table. The property is directly on a babbling brook that runs through town. Please read entire description before making a reservation. You are in our backyard and in our little town of Elizabethtown. It is a very private spot and very safe and quiet The parking is on the grass of our lawn and very close to the garage. Along with the Glamping Garage, there is a TeePee tent for additional sleeping. In the TeePee tent there are no mattresses, cots or mats. There is a dorm size refrigerator, a screened hammock is available, an outdoor shower tent, solar heated shower bag (hot water is available), along with electricity and drinking water. There is a flush toilet "outhouse" that is shared with another cabin. Fire wood is availabe to purchase on premise for $5.00 a bundle. FREE WIFI is available. You can walk, bike or drive around our neighborhood. We live in the red house on the property. E'town is the county seat of Essex County, NY. Our place is within walking distance to the hospital, stores, library, gas station, diner, hardware store, drug store, etc. There is only about 1100 people in this quiet, little town. We are only about a half hour to Lake Placid, NY and close to many popular hikes of the Adirondacks. We are a half hour to the Lake Champlain Bridge to VT. There is no heat or AC in this tent (our electricity won't handle it). A portable fan is available. Hot water is now available for your shower bag. Verizon cell service works here. We now have FREE WIFI available.
