Stunning Country Home in the Hudson Valley

Perfect NYC escape right in the heart of the Hudson Valley! The 1850 Lodge has 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and sits on 4 private wooded acres. Enjoy a beautiful yard, BBQ'ing on the front patio and evening drinks around the fire pit. The house provides two working fireplaces, an open plan chef's kitchen and dining room and a home-office over 3 levels. Only 90 minutes from NYC, 10 minutes to vibrant Kingston and a short drive to all the best the Hudson Valley has to offer! The house is perfect for a family or several couples. The downstairs bedroom is off the kitchen and has its own en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 and 3 sit on the second floor, both equipped with queen-sized beds. The top floor features the master bedroom area, with a queen bed, plenty of storage, and a stand-alone cast iron claw foot tub that one can spend hours in relaxing! We use Public Goods products, so healthy for the you and smell wonderful! The entire house is your space to enjoy! We have the garage closed off from guests, but otherwise, please make yourself at home! We offer a 100% free contact free stay, but will be available 24/7 for anything the guest may need during their stay. We stay at the home often, so the house has plenty of kitchen items for the guests including pots and pans, cutlery, and cookware. We have many suggestions of what to do in the area from the best place to get meat and seafood for grilling to where to eat or hike! The 1850 Lodge is a ten minute drive to Kingston, one of our favorite towns in the Hudson Valley. Every Saturday, we go into town to visit the Farmer's Market to load up on essentials for the evening dinner. We always stop into Village Coffee & Goods or Rough Draft Bar & Books for brunch of a coffee and never miss picking up pastries and bread at Kingston Bread & Bar! You are only 90 minutes from NYC and a short drive to Rhinebeck, Hudson, Woodstock, Saugerties and Phoenicia making this the ideal base from which to explore the Hudson Valley! Several hiking trails within half an hour of the house including the Mohonk Preserve, Shaupeneak Ridge Park, Williams Lake and the Rosendale Trestle & Hurley Rail Trail.
