The home is fully equipped with everything you might need and has loads of outdoor space, a bocce court and a firepit (wood provided). Catch the sunrise from the front porch with a cup of coffee and wind-down in the evenings with a cold beer by the firepit while dinner cooks over the top of it. Experience country life at its finest, all just a short drive from the city! Open kitchen, living and dining area with large floor to ceiling windows for unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside. The home is filled with eclectic prints, photographs and midcentury modern décor ad furniture. Kitchen: Equipped with Kitchenaid appliances including a dishwasher, gas range and large french door refrigerator. Coffee maker, coffee, filters and sugar are all provided. Spices, cooking oils, and basic condiments are also included. Pots, mixing bowls, measuring cups can all be found in the cabinets and pans are located above the fridge. If you can find anything that it doesn't have, you may have missed a cabinet! Dining: Modern round, 4-seater table and all of the cutlery and dinnerware you could possibly need. Livingroom: 3-seater, modern couch and 2 chairs setup around a cozy rug and fireplace. Large TV with Roku guest access so that you can sign-in to your own streaming accounts (on the off chance that you decide not to enjoy the other activities). Master: Queen bed complete with luxury linens in a well-appointed, large bedroom. The master bath is a retreat in luxury, with a freestanding soaking tub, shower, linens and basic amenities, including a few extras in case you forget your own. It also has a large walk-in closet with shelves and hangers. Bedroom 2: 2 twin beds, luxury linens and a closet with hangers and shelf. Bedroom 3: Queen bed, luxury linens and a closet with hangers and shelf. Bathroom 2: Full shower and tub, linens and basic amenities. Office Nook: Desk with large shelving unit, a work lamp and desk chair. This is also where the games are stored (Monopoly, dominos, cards and other family games). Laundry: Full sized washer and dryer with some laundry soap and dryer sheets included. Iron and ironing board can also be found here. Outside: Large backporch with rocking chairs and a swinging bed under a ceiling fan. Charcoal grill (charcoal provided), firepit (wood provided) surrounded by Adirondack chairs and a bocce court (balls provided). The front porch includes an outdoor loveseat that is perfect for watching the sunrise. The house it situated on a working farm and it's super important to keep the main gate closed... the cows are supposed to stay on the other side of the fence, but sometimes they're feeling a little adventurous and slip through! The house is fenced off from the fields and guests must stay within the fenced area. There is also a chicken coup just outside the fenced-in area. They will stay inside the run while guests are there, but you'll definitely get the wake-up call from the rooster each morning. Available by phone, text and email. Host help is nearby if needed onsite. Very secluded home with great views. There are neighbors, but in the summer you can't really even see any other houses! Deer, turkey and bobcats make regular appearances and occasionally you may even be able to spot a hog. There is a corner store about 1.5 miles from the house. They have a decent selection of beer and some essential items. Plenty of parking on site and you'll need a car. Small store 1.5 miles away in Dale Grocery’s and restaurants 13 miles away in Lockhart. Lockhart is called the bbq capital of Texas. 15 mins to the circuit of America’s race track. Austin is 45 min drive. Please note that wifi is available in the house, but it is via satellite and can be very spotty when there is adverse weather conditions (sometimes it will drop completely). Cell service can also come and go, but some providers are better than others in the area. AT&T and Verizon are definitely the most reliable.
