Stay at our new 3500 sq-ft Farmhouse nestled in quaint St Charles, 7 minutes south of North Beach, our favorite beach at Bear Lake. Walk or bike along dirt roads lined with farms, horses and rustic barns or hike and trail ride nearby in stunning Green Canyon. Winter here to snowmobile nearby and ski at Beaver Mountain. Garden City's restaurants, chocolate shops and raspberry shakes are 11 miles south. Enjoy downtown then return to St. Charles for quiet nights and starry skies. Our beautiful farmhouse is new this year! It sits on .60 acres and feels open and inviting with tall vaulted ceilings. Our home sleeps 19 guests, with 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, one double sofa-sleeper, and three bunk beds with twins on top and double mattresses below. The kitchen area is a chef's dream, complete with a baking station, butler's pantry, double-ovens, gas stove, and enormous island work area. The baking station has a blender, large Kitchenaid mixer, and a variety of spices. The butlers pantry is stocked with coffee grounds, tea, hot chocolate and cider packets and several appliances including toaster, coffee maker, hot water kettle, rice cooker, electric griddle, crockpot, and an ice cream maker. The large double-sectional is made of 10 oversized seating pieces and 2 ottomans, accommodating a crowd playing games, doing puzzles, or watching the 70" smart TV. The open bunk room serves as a second gathering area with toys, games and a smart TV. The bunk beds (3 sets for 6 beds total— top bunks are twin size, bottom bunks are double size). Move your office to Bear Lake! Our office boasts high speed fiber-optic internet. You can enjoy a view of slivers of the lake between the charming barns and farmhouses while working from the desk. The smallest of the bedrooms, the office has a double/full pullout sofa bed. Each private bedroom (5) has beautiful comfy bedding with cotton duvet covers and fluffy down comforters. The master bathroom is ensuite to the large master bedroom and has a tub and large shower. There are two additional bathrooms, each with a tub/shower combo, one on the main floor and another upstairs. The garage is not available to guests, but there is ample parking on the driveway and west side of our home for a total of 6 vehicles, including trailers. There's plenty of parking on our driveway for two trucks pulling trailers. We also have parking on the west side of the house, off the road. There is no access to the garage. A few things to note: No pets allowed. The garage is not available for use by renters, but there is plenty of parking on the driveway and the gravel on the west side of our home. Six cars maximum. City ordinances do not allow for extra campers or trailers on the property.
