This is a small old historic home on one of the most beautiful tree lined streets in downtown Bristol RI. The interior has just been decorated with all new furniture, as you will see in the pictures. This is a two story townhouse, with 2 small bedrooms upstairs, each with queen beds. Large closets. There is a marble counter height dining set for 6, matching side table, lounge room w 55" Samsung smart tv, 200mbps wifi, small kitchen w/ new stainless fridge and range, huge bathroom, stacked w/d Get away to beautiful Bristol RI! Safe, clean, uncrowded! This, like all the homes in the historic center, is an old house. many of the homes here are 100 to 200 years old. We believe ours to be in the 175 year old vicinity. There is a very strict Historical Society that regulates and oversees any and all structural change requests preserving the historic integrity of the town. As such, this house has a rich American history and many of the original touches are still in place. That said, we have filled our home with every modern convenience to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. There is a lot of emphasis lately on what guests should expect when they arrive at an Airbnb home, and rightly so. No one likes surprises. So here's a quick list of amenities and add ons that you can expect at our home: All linens and towels (4 sets), new mattresses, mattress covers, blankets and pillows. Large upstairs closet with hangers. Fully equipped kitchen including Keurig and coffee supplies, tea. All silverware, cutlery, plates, glassware, cooking utensils, large lobster boil pot, cast iron Dutch oven, saucepans, non stick covered fry pan, grill pan, tea kettle, spices and condiments, and a BBQ grill just outside the kitchen door. Bathroom amenities including toilet paper, laundry soap, body wash and shampoo, hand soap and laundry basket, hair dryer, beach towels. High speed internet, 55" Samsung smart TV with access to many apps including SiriusXM, HBO, Showtime, Netfix etc. Two downstairs closets, one bathroom closet and one kitchen. Vacuum cleaner. Extra portable heaters, small AC units in bedrooms. Backyard, fire pit, four outdoor chairs, ample trash cans, recycling bins. It's an old and humble home, with crooked entrances and floors, and we have done our best to update it with love, style and practicality. After you enter the foyer, which has a full closet, you'll be in the front room with counter top marble dining table with pearl marble top and 6 espresso/leather dining chairs. A matching sideboard/buffet sits against wall. Storage on the sides for glasses, wine etc. This is a very light and airy room with view to the sidewalk, street and activity. Next is the gathering room/ media lounge with a large leather sectional, glass and chrome matching coffee and end tables. A perfect setting for entertaining, movie watching. There is a new 55" Samsung Smart TV connected to super fast 100mbps wifi and access to many apps including HBO, Showtime, Sirius XM radio, Netflix and more. The kitchen overlooks the back yard. There is a new stainless fridge and there is a microwave above the gas stove/oven. Loads of glassware, cutlery, cooking utensils, large pots and several options in stove top cooking pans. KitchenAid blender, if you're so inclined, and a Keurig coffee maker. No dishwasher. A door leads you to the back porch, big gas BBQ and back yard with chairs and firepit. Large bathroom, high ceiling, travertine tile floor, new stacked washer and dryer, and a full size bathtub and shower. There is extra storage and a huge marble vanity. Upstairs At the the top of the stairs is a large closet. Two small bedrooms each with queen sized "sleigh beds" (just refinished) and new luxurious bedding, mattresses, and pillows. (No down) Each room's furniture is done in white, with color splashes from accent chairs and lamps. Outside, Church Street is on the 4th of July parade route, across the street from the town park with gazebo, bandshell, playground, tennis and basketball. If you turn right and walk down the street, it's one block to the main drag, Hope Street, where you'll find tons of activity: restaurants, breakfast nooks, antique shops, hotels, and bus stops. Don't forget to hit the Oyster Bar for happy hour $1 oysters. One block further, and you're at the water. Restaurants, boat launches and docking, waterside drinks, ice cream stand, bike rental shop and the famous Aidan's Pub. Two blocks further along the water is the beginning of the Bristol-Providence bike path. You can pedal, jog, walk, roller blade any portion of the 14 mile path as it winds it way through Warren, Barrington, Riverside all the way to Providence, following the waters edge. Newport is 30 minutes away to the South. Providence, 30 minutes to the North. The beautiful towns of Warren, Little Compton, Tiverton and Island Park are only 10-15 minute drives. You have two entrances: front door and back porch into kitchen. You have complete access to the residence. There is a tenant next door in an identical townhouse with private entrances. Access to water, sailing, shipbuilding museum, incredible seafood, parks, cycling, and great restaurants, all walking distance, if you choose. Quiet nights, walks along the water, a ferry ride to Prudence Island or even a 25 minute drive to Newport or Providence. Walk to all. Bicycle, walk or job the Bristol/Providence bike path.
