Tentrr Signature Site - Creekside Paradise

Summary: We only have one campsite so you can have a completely private experience in the beautiful Santa Cruz redwoods next to beautiful Browns creek. Welcome to your Tentrr Campsite! We take the rules very seriously, if rules are broken, we charge and in some instances will ask campers to leave with no refund. This is a leave no trace campsite. If you leave a trace, we must charge for our time to resolve this. Our goal is to have a breathtakingly beautiful campground for each camper to enjoy when they arrive so this means leave no trace. If you call me prior to your arrival and we understand each other, we will leave the campground completely to yourself with no interruptions. Camp Rules: 1. You must bring any and all wood you burn. do not gather fallen branches etc. Do not help yourself to the wood on the property. No wood from under the pizza oven, no split wood on the property and no sticks collected on the property. If you need wood we charge $20.00 per box and we will leave it in the parking lot prior to your arrival - you can add this on as an "extra" when you book. The fire must be attended at all times, no exception. The fire department requires all embers be completely extinguished with water. If embers are left in the morning they issue steep fines. 2. Usually we provide water but if we can’t the only water on the property comes from the creek. You are free to use it but it must be boiled or filtered before use. 3. Leave all of your waste in a Sealed plastic bags in the parking lot when you leave. Separate recycled from non recycled trash. 4. If you use the BBQ or wood burning stove, clean the ashes out and leave it as you found it. 5. Leave everything as you found it. 6. We ask that you keep on the path system at all times to protect the delicate plants. If you have children or pets please understand they have a very hard impact on the property and usually we find plant damage and pet droppings - this leads to losing the cleaning deposit. 8. There is no smoking permitted anywhere on the property. If you smoke don’t book with us because if you are smoking anything on the property you will be asked to leave at once. No exception, no second chance. All these rules ensure everyone has a wonderful experience. So they also protect and ensure you will find camp a beautiful and very special place. Some nearby area attractions: 1) Beautiful public access deep redwood forest hiking 1 mile from camp with breath taking views of the Monterey Bay and beautiful Carmel By The Sea. 2) Excellent wine tasting along Brown's Valley Road and the rest of Corralitos. These wines are some of the finest wines in the world, especially the Pinot's. 3) Award winning local brewery, Corralitos Brewery 3 miles from camp. Authentic local small micro brewery. Super fun place and local people. 4) 15 Minute drive to spectacular beaches on Santa Cruz. 5) 20 Minute drive to Beach Boardwalk amusement park. Over 100 years old a huge attraction. Full-on old-fashioned beach boardwalk with rides and a wonderful arcade. 6) 35 Minute drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. A world class Aquarium with a stunning display of jelly fish and other amazing sea creatures. The Space: Welcome you are a Tentrr client. Tentrr has provided a beautiful private campsite on a special property that is quite beautiful adjacent to Brown's creek. The campsite is separate from the rest of the park. Please use your campsite only. The rest of the park is privately owned. Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise. Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire -Water Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Occupancy: Max occupancy refers to the total number of campers allowed at the site during your reservation. We welcome campers with larger parties, but you may need to bring extra camping gear of your own in addition to the tent that is already provided. Please plan accordingly. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry! Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Tentrr Extras: These are other amenities, services, or activities that may be provided by your CampKeeper for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to add these to your booking so that we can process payment. Availability of any Extras are not guaranteed and must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to check-in. Pizza Oven - $200 The pizza oven takes 3 - 4 hours to reach 700 degrees. This comes with all necessary tools. Instruction on how to fire it and all wood necessary to have a pizza event. Fire wood - $20 $20.00 per cubic foot. Will be delivered to the parking area. Event Area - $100 Event area with seating around stone fire ring. Giant Redwood table under shade canopy. Large event BBQ. Creekside sitting. Other Things to Note: Directly after crossing Browns Creek, located 2.1 miles from the Corralitos junction and Corralitos Meat Market, you will see a white sign with the word FROM on your right. This is the Tentrr parking spot. There will be a sign hanging on a yellow rope that says Private Property. At both ends of the rope are clips that will allow you to proceed. At the back of the parking area there is a foot trail leading to a creekside trail. If at night, you will need a bright flashlight. Bear left and follow the path to the creek crossing. There are five stairs leading to the right. Once on the other side of the creek, follow the trail system to the right. There is a two minute walk through the forest to your campsite. Camp Rules: 1.
