The Pennsylvania Farmhouse

This charming and well curated home is the perfect cozy getaway for families and small groups looking to spend quality time together and create life long memories. ....If you know the Danish word "hygge" you know the type of experience to expect from this home ;) The Pennsylvania Farmhouse was built in 1732 and seamlessly blends its historic charm with modern conveniences. Downstairs you will find plenty of space for entertaining. A living room with fireplace, TV room with Netflix, Game Room with a diverse game selection, dining area and kitchen. There are two bathrooms, both upstairs, along with three bedrooms (one room with crib) and a library. Wifi is fast and efficient. But, if you really want to disconnect from the world try taking a relaxing bubble bath in the claw foot tub, or browse the library and curl up with a good book. Outside you'll find a large deck with hot tub, a big back yard, patio with fountain and small paths out back with a fire pit. Guests have access to the entire house (except for two locked rooms). Full kitchen and all living spaces both inside and outside. A short two minute drive can take you to a lovely little park with a large picnic area, children's playground, track, basketball court etc. There is also a pizza/deli, and an Amish bakery nearby where you can buy delectable baked goods including shoofly pie, whoopie pies and zucchini bread. A 5 minute drive will take you to Chambers Lake, for kayaking and fishing. King of Prussia Mall (one of the largest in the country) is a 30 minute drive, Lancaster is also a 30 minute drive. Philadelphia is one hour. You will need a car in this area. There is plenty of space for parking. Uber may or may not be available. Everything you need is already provided. Towels and linens, toiletries and bathroom essentials, washer/dryer (with detergent), fire wood for the fire pit, etc.
