For train buffs Alma, Wisconsin is one of the best viewing locations along the Mississippi River for the Burlington Northern Sante Fe line. Lock & Dam #4 bridge over the railroad tracks is a favorite viewing spot in Alma. The views from the COTTAGE ROOMS Inn are spectacular with a clear view of trains heading north or south backed by the Mississippi River.
