Summary: Beautiful stay in the basement of a mansion with a private walkout to a stunning outdoor space with views of Pikes Peak where you can enjoy your morning coffee and maybe see deer. This private 3 BED, 2 BATH space is clean, disinfected, has keyless entry for easy check in, and fast Wi-Fi for business travelers. Fully stocked kitchen to prepare and enjoy meals. Plenty of space to gather and enjoy time with family watching movies, playing pool, or enjoying the outdoors. Enjoy a slice of nature at Fox Run Regional park right next door with plenty of open spaces, playground, ponds, pavilion, trails and a dog park. To give you peace of mind, we have a 5 star cleaning team that keeps this home immaculately clean and disinfected (especially high-touch areas) so you can enjoy your stay and feel safe. The Space: Lower level indeed. Park in the private drive on the west side of the main home, the side closest to the mountains. Enter using the private electronic key code provided, and step into a warm, welcoming, luxurious space — but only after you explore the stunning, outdoor ones. This home is located next door to Fox Run Regional Park—forested with trails, playing fields, and a lake and gazebo known for weddings and engagements. The entire area is located in the "Black Forest" north of Colorado Springs — an area away from it all, but also pretty (conveniently) close to all the necessary trappings of civilization. This property reflects the nature and the feel of this area superbly. There's a private patio attached to the unit. There's a pond and waterfall. There are trees and stone walls and grass and a sense of the natural, on luxurious (but obtainable) terms. Back inside the space, you'll note the open design concept between the kitchen and living rooms. You'll also note that this is definitely not a basement. The space is completely independent—with a full kitchen, ready for your culinary creations. An entertainment room with quality furnishings and fireplace. A pool table. A gaming table. A SLOT MACHINE. Yeah … and there's also a gym. A gym! Plenty of dining spaces mean this one is perfect for families, friends and groups and with the 3 bedrooms, there's plenty of room to stay a while. The bedrooms here are private with a shared bath between them. There are two queen beds and a comfortable double—all with luxurious sheets, cleaned and laundered professionally. There's also a sofa bed, for a max sleeping capacity of 8 people, comfortably. A full laundry is also available for guest use. We are at 8,000 feet so we have no need for air conditioning. We do provide fans in all bedrooms to help you keep cool if you are warm natured. Guest Access: Guest will have private access to the entire bottom unit. Access to the entire lower level with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, laundry, home gym equipment, grill and outdoor seating area. There is 2600 square feet of open floor plan. We pamper you with lots of extras. The Neighborhood: The north end of Colorado Springs is known for its larger, custom homes, quiet neighborhoods and private lifestyles. Less urban than other areas of Colorado Springs, the sense of "escape" here is palpable. The views of the mountains tend to be unobstructed. There are forests here. Access to outdoor recreation is superb, yet the modern conveniences abound too. Shopping and quality restaurants are relatively close. Gyms, grocery stores, outlets, food and drink are all within an approximate 5 - 10 minute drive. The area is also defined, somewhat, by its proximity to the Air Force Academy. Guests will frequently notice light training planes flying overhead—the nation's next Airmen learning their craft. Some of the most well-known area attractions are all within an approximate 30 minute drive—Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City, Downtown, the COS Airport—all are easily accessible via main roadways and Interstate 25. With suburban appeal and easy access to everything that makes Colorado Springs great, this might be your perfect vacation rental locale. Getting Around: We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation. Other Things to Note: ATTENTION: * Owner lives on site in upstairs unit. Floor has been insulated to minimize noise and upstairs and downstairs are sealed off permanently. * We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like soap, toilet paper etc. * Pets are NOT allowed in this property; * Quiet hours are from 10 pm - 7 am * Garage will be locked off and not accessible. * Strict maximum of 8 guests and 2 cars allowed at this property * No Smoking allowed in or outdoors of any kind. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they May be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously.
