Vintage Camper on Organic Farm
Vintage Frolic camper with Catskill mountain views nestled under trees on the edge of our communal garden and food forest field. A short walk to the barn where our chickens and sheep live. Full kitchen in camper, outdoor cold shower and compost toilet outhouse for your use. Our 100 acre property is located at the end of a dead end road. We have direct access to the O&W rail trail. Enjoy the sunset around a fire. Farm fresh eggs and firewood available for extra charge. The two twin size beds turn into a couch on one side and a table with two benches on the other for day use. There is an outdoor breakfast table, chairs, BBQ, and a chiminea for fires. The field below has a yurt and tiny house on opposite sides of the garden space where the owners will be gardening, cooking out, playing, etc. We are a community of 3 couples and two children living off and loving the land. We grow much of our own food and are attempting to live in harmony with nature as much as possible. Most of the property is available to explore. There are multiple paths throughout (two of which lead to the rail trail) and we have a secluded deck in a moss and cedar forest not far from the camper for yoga. This is a working farm so there are a few hazards to watch for (we currently have a ditch dug for new electric lines going in) and an abandoned house on the property as well as a house under construction that are forbidden. We ask that you give the owners privacy around their homes and stay on paths where they exist. We are here to respect nature and try not to disturb the critters and plants if we don't need to. You may gather your own firewood, or we can bring you a bundle for $5. The garden if for residents only. We ask that you do not enter unless invited. You will probably see us around in the garden or up at the barn. You can text anytime or call if you need anything. Our location is directly between Kingston, Rosendale, and High Falls. The rail trail on the back of our property goes right into Kingston or you can take it to our lovely little co-op and High Falls where there are multiple restaurants and views of the falls. Once you are on our property, biking is a great option for getting around. Walking and running on the rail trail is also very nice. To get here, you will need a vehicle, or you can bike in from the Kingston bus stop.
