Our 1962 Santa Fe Cub is a vintage glamping dream come true! Cozy and comfortable with a cushy full size bed, twinkle lights, and plenty of soft pillows and blankets, it's a playhouse for grownups! Please read the full description! The camper sits in its own corner of our property, next to the vegetable garden. Our property is a hilltop acre of shade trees and fruit trees, with a koi pond and small spring-fed creek. You'll enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, overlooking the nearby mountains. The key to having a good experience is all about your expectations! This is a 1962 camper and it is VERY small. Of course it is also adorable! Please read all about it before booking. :-) BATHROOM AMENITIES ARE LIMITED! There is a portable camping toilet in the "potty shed" and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. There’s a firepit available unless city fire restrictions are in place. Firewood is provided. Wifi is available but weak when inside the camper. If you sit outside nearer our house it’s much stronger. We have good cell signal reception so you should be able to have internet access on your phone. There is a small sink with water and there is electricity in the camper. The camper has the original stove and oven which you are welcome to use. There is a cooler you can put ice in to keep your food and drinks cold. (You provide own ice) A space heater warms the place up when it's chilly and there's an electric water kettle for making tea or coffee. During hot summers there’s an air conditioner installed in one window that keeps the camper very cool. The interior space of the camper is 7' x 10', including the bed (which takes up the bulk of the space). There's space next to the bed for two people to stand, close together. It's tiny! Embrace the glamping experience, snuggle up, and enjoy! We're here if you need us. Old Town Cottonwood offers quaint shopping, restaurants, and many wine tasting venues. Five minutes away is Clarkdale with Tuzigoot National Monument, Verde Canyon Railroad, and the Arizona Copper Art Museum. You can actually see Tuzigoot from our property. Sedona is only 20 minutes away, with over 400 hiking trails and the amazing red rocks. We are just 20 miles from Slide Rock State Park and the beautiful hikes of Oak Creek Canyon. Jerome is a quaint artistic town perched on the side of the mountain just above us. It is full of great wineries and restaurants, just 5 miles away. You don't want to miss the views! We are only 20 minutes from Camp Verde and their great antique and cowboy shops (and the best Italian restaurant in the area), Montezuma Well and Montezuma Castle National Monuments, and Out of Africa Wildlife Park. Take a day trip to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Petrified Forest and so much more! There’s a portable camping toilet in the small shed next to the camper. There’s an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.
