If you are looking for a comfortable place for your getaway this year, look no further! Located just 12 min from Barry's Bay, this spacious, 4-season waterfront cottage is yours to enjoy. Set far apart, it is one of two cottages rented out on the property. Marvel in the beauty of the pristine water from the screened-in porch. Relax with a book or a cup of tea under the trees near the shoreline. Have a peaceful sleep while listening to the sounds of nature. There is so much to do in the area too. Located in the beautiful Madawaska Valley, the property boasts a beautiful shoreline with sandy bottom, and areas of both sun and shade. The property has 2 cottages (1 detached cottage and 1 semi-detached cottage) that are open for vacation rental throughout the year. The two rented cottages are set far apart on the grounds, and a tall hedge creates visual privacy between the two cottages. This listing is for the detached cottage. It has a screened-in porch with views of the lake, a living room, a full kitchen, a dining area, and a 4-piece washroom on the main floor. The 2 spacious bedrooms are upstairs. This cottage is only about a 1/2 min. walk from the shoreline. The grounds are shared by the guests of the second cottage, however, this is a large property and separate sitting areas are available by the shoreline for each cottage. Each cottage also has access to a separate dock, a canoe, 2 kayaks, a BBQ grill, and a firepit. There is parking on the property for two cars per cottage. We can accommodate more cars but please inform us in advance if you plan to arrive in more than 2 cars. I am available if and when needed. This cottage is located in the heart of the charming town of Combermere which is located in the Madawaska Valley of Ontario. Barry's Bay, Blackfish Bay, Kaminiskeg Lake, Diamond Lake, Foymount, Killaloe, Wilno, and Hastings Highlands are nearby neighborhoods. Some of the nearby attractions include: Crooked Slide Park; Foy Provincial Park; Carson Lake Provincial Park; Bell Bay Provincial Park; Zurakowski Park; Water tower Park; Mink Creek Falls; Opeongo River Provincial Park; Lake St. Peter Provincial Park; Egan Chutes Provincial Park; McArthur Falls; and Bonnechere Provincial Park. A visit to these places can give you a sense of the natural beauty in the area.
