Mill River Cottage (pet friendly!)

Welcome to our peaceful and unique urban farm cottage. We are located in historic Florence, Massachusetts (a part of Northampton). While our place is no longer a working farm, the cottage was created many years ago to support the main dwelling. It has been modernized to offer every comfort while maintaining its cozy aesthetic. Free parking & lighted access to the cottage. The cottage is a private space where you can come and go as you please. Relax and unwind or head out to explore the area! We are a dog-friendly space and offer a large fenced-in yard. We will go out of our way to make sure you have everything you need for you and/or your animals. Think of a welcoming, artistic studio apartment to meet your every need. That's us! We offer information on the best local restaurants, cafes, shopping areas and hiking trails and parks. The bed is king-sized and VERY comfortable. Linens and towels are washed diligently between guests and beds are personally changed by the host. We can set up an additional single bed if needed. The driveway to the right of the main house (as you face it) is for guests only. You can come and go as you please. You will have complete privacy in the cottage but we are almost always available for any Qs or needs during your stay. Note: we are dedicated to safety and cleanliness and follow all disinfecting protocol. Happy to answer any and all Qs. Our neighborhood (historically known as "The Dingle") is quiet and friendly. We are literally right on the Mill River and you can picnic or meditate by its beauty. We are a short distance to a bike path and if hiking is your thing, there are abundant options. This area is also brimming with history and there is no shortage of interesting things to see and do. We have bikes for loan and the city also provides "City Bikes" for easy rental. Getting around by car is easy. You will receive detailed instructions after booking. Your comfort and enjoyment is our priority. Please note that while there is a sleeping area, a kitchen area and a living room area, it is one open space.
